    Cool Loving the eraser!

    Hi

Just wanted to say what a great tool the eraser is!

Although I have a photographic program with an excellent extraction tool I am finding this eraser is a real gift as I can work dynamically within my layout.

If I find I have taken out too much, I can just paint it back in - even if I have saved, even if I have closed the program I can still get back to my original picture! Wow, how neat is that?

    Great job guys!

I'm enjoying it too, Just did a layout with a shape that made a lot of sparkles around the edges of the layout. Some of the mask was covering my photos, so just did some guessing and erasing certain parts of the paper and it changed the shape so it came out just the way I wanted to see it.

What would make it even better is to be able to have your photo already in it's frame and then erase the parts that are sticking out, I find it hard to judge how much I should erase, going back and forth makes me dizzy! hahah

ChrissyC, one thing you can do is load the shape into the eraser...that gives you the shape as the starting point, so you can modify it from there.

If you haven't tried the Save and Load buttons on the eraser yet, you should. Saved eraser masks become shapes that you can select, and vice-versa.
