Help I am in thick mode

I have a saved project that was originally done on version 1. When I got version 2 I saved it on there. This where my problem may lie.

I have come to add a few more pages for my mother in law as a stocking filler but when I add a new page it is not coming up in the right format ie the embellishments are nothing like they used to be

As an interim I have saved a new scrapbook to version 1 but is there a way I can rectify this problem.
