    Save as PDF in SM2

I was able to save as a PDF in SM1 but am not able to do so in SM2. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a new secret or could I have encounted a problem when it was downloaded?

Yes you can save as a pdf file, go to: file/publish to/pdf. It is almost at the bottom.

Has anyone published to PDF successfully in v2? Every time I try to do it I get an access error and it crashes.

Error: Access violation at 0x7733BDDD (tried to write to 0x0052D51C), program terminated.

Followed with Scrapbook Max has stopped working and it closes the program.
      My buddy is GrannyWin.
My sister, my friend, Laurie016. My daughter, mortonmomof2.

I tried to publish a pdf file and got the same error message.

Error: Access violation at 0x7612941D (tried to write to 0x0052D51C), program terminated.

Then it comes up Scrapbook Max has stopped working and closes the program.

Hope they find a fix for you soon.

Yeah, that is a bug that creeped up in the very final release somehow. We're looking into that this week as well.

I didn't get the crash thanks goodness. It went through the action of saving but with no results. Sorry I worded it all wrong but thanks for looking into it.

                PDF Error in SM2.0

I got the same error. Will there be an announcement when the bug is fixed?

The PDF bug has been fixed at our end -- it was just an outdated file that snuck onto on our build system. So this bug will be gone in the next update.

We have a few more things to fix (and some new surprises to add ), but we'll make an announcement as soon as the new version is available.

This is a feature I liked using. I'm glad it will be fixed but is this update a long time in coming as I do miss this feature and will we have to pay for it since it should have been included in 2? Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of more surprises but I am not happy about losing the PDF feature especially since I spent the extra $10 for the disk.

In the past all of the upgrades were free, especially if there was a bug in the program. Don't worry, the have always done right by us!

Of course! It will be free to anyone who owns v2.0 - just like all minor version updates were with v1.0 (to v1.0.1, v1.0.2 etc) and will be for v2.0! We only charge for major version upgrades, like the upgrade from v1.0 to v2.0. You'll simply download a small patch file and it'll update your software with all the latest fixes and features.
Scrapbook MAX! 2.0 is here!. It's simply better digital scrapbooking software!
