if i install version 2 does it overide version 1

And do i need to save additional sets i have in one so as not to loose them and can i use them in 2 now.

It is a whole new program not an update for version 1. It installs to a new folder and setup. Version 1 is not necessary for version 2 to installl.
Version 2 will find and use your version 1 templates, extras, etc. You could use both versions I am until I finish my big project.
