The Font Thing
Can anyone tell me how I'm able to make use of the characters which are NOT associated with keyboard strokes...!!!***!!!
Am I making sense...???
On the attached image you'll see that the top symbols are associated to keys on my keyboard but from '127' onwards they are not.
How can I use these symbols within my software....
ANY help would be appreciated.

Oh so sorry for this, but when I click on my thumbnail it takes AGES to show, so thought I'd post it here...
It's a big 'grainy'... hope you can make it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These are extended character sets. You need to try this:
- Open a journal or caption box
- Select appropriate font, eg Fish in the Bathroom
- Hold down Alt key, keep it pressed down
- While holding it down, type in zero, then the number
Alt + 0140

This is something which has baffled me for quite some time now... thank you sooooooooooooo much.
Are you in Northampton or Northamptonshire, UK?????
I live in Northamptsonshire.
I am in Northampton Town.

Happy scrapping - FS xx
Mary, any character that you need that is not included in the normal keyboard characters can be accessed as you would normally access ASCII characters (Alt+0+character number).
By the way folks from trial and error - The Font Thing does not work in Vista (Boo hoo - I love this programme and have had to transfer to Nexus).
Mary what is that font that you have displayed in your screenshot. Looks great
Vanessa... that's 'Fish in the Bathroom' font.
