Day 4 - first quilt
Here is mine for today. My first hand-sewn quilt was a gift for my daughter. Emily choose the colors and fabrics and waited several months for me to finish. We were BOTH very happy to have it finished. I used a terrific kit called Pinkalicious, by Kristi Cakebread, that I found in the SBM store.Attached Files

day3 & 4
day 3 is Titled Aussie Rules Football. My eldest son was an excellent footballer, retired now, but was a 215 senior game veteran, life member of local football club, League Best & Fairest winner and Club Best & Fairest winner, as well as a Gippsland all star member in season 1996 and several other awards. I am very proud of his achievements, he inspired those around him on the field and off. Probably the biggest compliment he was given was when players were asked what footballer they would nominate as their hero, and many of his team mates nominated him.
Day 4 is of grandson Jenn, who went berry picking at local berry farm day before Xmas for fresh berries for Xmas morning pancakes. He loved it, one for Jenn, one for the bucket.... lol
All the best from Nanny Bernie.

Here's my day 5
Tackettup, your page is awesome! I turned mine sideways because I thought it worked better with my big photo. I used some SBM papers and the embies came from a kit called "I'm this many!", by Amy Stoffel at Scrap Orchard. The photo strip came from Fiona Storey - thanks, Fiona! I believe the torn shape came from the freebie forums. If you recognize it as yours, please let me know. This has been a fun challenge so far.
