I want to wish all you mom's out there a very blessed and happy Mommy's Day!!!! I had my boys making me breakfast this morning and for lunch my hunny is frying out for my mother and me...What an awesome day!!!!!! lol...I did get this from Christine in an email and wanted to share it with everyone here...I loved it...((HUGS))


Awesome Mom

Before I was a Mom,
I never tripped over toys
or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not
my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.

Before I was a Mom,
I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind
and my thoughts.
I slept all night.

Before I was a Mom,
I never held down a screaming child
so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night
watching a baby sleep.

Before I was a Mom,
I never held a sleeping baby just because
I didn't want to put her down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces
when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small
could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.

Before I was a Mom,
I didn't know the feeling of
having my heart outside my body..
I didn't know how special it could feel
to feed a hungry baby
I didn't know that bond
between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small
could make me feel so important and happy.

Before I was a Mom,
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night
every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth,
the joy,
the love,
the heartache,
the wonderment
or the satisfaction of being a Mom
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much,
before I was a Mom .

Rachel there are days when I dream of having another baby (either through adoption or pregnancy, which we have come to terms with not being able to) but then there are days when we worry about money so much, I would be afraid to. Also when my sweet, precious Cameron is driving me up a tree, that I say, "Nah, one is enough for me!" Ha ha!!!

OH, you wonderful Mom's! So glad to see adopters for me!! I'd be trouble free. My Mom passed away back in 1985, she was only 49. Luekemia.

My heart ached for her when I had my kids and had no motherly support! Boys are grownups now..still need me of course..and my daughter is nearly 15 and getting ready to get her permit to drive..

I miss not being able to spoil my Mom on Mother's Day!! So all you adopting me..Would love to spoil you all!!

Pick..we live in the same state..Have to look up on the map to see how close you are to me!! Bless all your wonderful efforts to have kids!! I have never regreted having my kids!! Life did change for the better for me..just having them!!

Michelle, your sweet, spunky, spirit is such a blessing! You so deserve to be spoiled!! So glad to here your kids made you breakfast and now yummy lunch!! Way to go!! The poem..brought tears to my dry eyes!!

I got two Lindt dark chocolate bars and two water globes for my plants with a beautiful card!! Sent Mother in Law money and she got it yesterday!! She is wonderful!! The hubby has just taken over the kitchen to cook...Can't wait!!

I had a great day too we all have lunch with my mom in law, then we had a bday party of a friend of stefania and for dinner came a couple of friends with his boy , Fantastic!!! now i will call my mom too!
