    mh51 ~ Help Needed.........

I know this MUST be possible, but I don't know how!!**!!
    • I have a range of photographs which I've taken with my digital camera.
    • They're named ~ P0412, P0413, P0414 etc.
    • I want to move them around in my folder and then re-number/rename them.
    • After moving them to their required position... I
    • Highlight ALL from end to beginning
    • F2 & then rename.
    • This then takes the format of eg. "mh51 : mh51 (1) : mh51 (2) etc.
    • When I then rip them to a disk they "re-arrange" themselves as follows........
    • 1, 11, 12, 13........... 2, 21, 22, 23........... 3,31,32,33 etc.

It will be quite laborious to manually rename all 450 photographs...

    CAN ANYONE HELP ME!!!! PLEASE..................

add a 0 infront of the numbers (01, 02 etc) that way they stay in order (its what i do with embellishments to keep them in order)

As I have 450 photographs, your method would only work if I re-number them individually

When highlighting ALL the photographs & using F2... they are automatically re-numbered (1) (2) (3)......

      I know I'm a pain, but I 're-number' a great deal & need a solution...!!!

Nope... it happens with EVERY combination... although I've now downloaded a FREE programme (File Renamer) and it seems to be doing what I want ~ until it doesn't LOL LOL LOL
