Hello,

I uploaded the software and the templates that come with it are not there. What do l do?

Hi, Kathy! The extra templates and embellishments will be on the CD. When it arrives, remove the trial version from your computer then reinstall from the CD. If you downloaded the full version, then you can just install the Content Pack from the CD when you get it. Welcome!

Double-check the email confirming your order, the one that gave you the link to the program. There's a second download of 455 MB that has what they call the "content component."

Just to clarify: The program itself, SBM, is around 49 MB (that's four-nine) -- the second download of the templates and content is 455 MB (that's four-five-five).

Edit: as O2BNGdhope says, you don't have to download this behemoth. It's on the CD that should be on its way to you.

Thank-you so much. l got the cd today and l installed it and no templates. I got the cd has a gift. I never bought it myself. I contacted SBM and l'm waiting for a reply

When your CD ran (or when you ran autorun.exe) - did you install the content pack (see attached screenshot of the SBM installer).

When you install Scrapbook MAX!, you must choose Install Scrapbook MAX! and then Install Content Pack in order to have access to all the templates and kits that come with your particular edition.

You said that you already chose Install Content Pack and that you still do not see the templates. I have a couple of questions:

- Did you get an error message of any kind when you chose Install Content Pack? If so, what did it say?

- What happens if you insert your CD-ROM and choose Install Content Pack again - do you get the same result?

- Once the content pack is installed, templates are found under Create a New Scrapbook and under Page >Add. Are you looking for the templates in these locations? Are you finding them in one location and not the other? Or are they not showing up anywhere?

We'll try to help you out, but just need a bit more info about what you're seeing and trying to do.

I can use the templates in the forum with no problem at all.

Thanks for your answers.

A couple of further questions - when you choose Install Content Pack, are you presented with anything at all on your screen, like a progress bar, to indicate that something is happening, or does absolutely nothing happen at all?

Have you checked under My Computer C: Program Files - Scrapbook MAX! - Templates, are any .smt files listed there (there should be about 30 files or so for the Classic Edition)?

Are there any files under My Computer C: Program Files - Scrapbook MAX! - Gallery - Images - Embellishments
