question about embellishments

hi, i've been checking out different digital kits/embellishments and noticed that some are classified as rub ons and overlays. I'm wondering what these are and can I use them like normal embellishments?

Don't know about rub ons but overlays you can use. Overlays are transparent items to use over your entire page. Hope it helps.
