Hi everyone! John and I got back today from our son's graduation from the Air Force Basic Training (Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX). OH what an experience. He looked so handsome and had matured so much! I know I'm a very proud Mom but this trip was such a wonderful time for us. YES, I do have a lot of pics from all of the events! It was a very emotional time for me. I'm still having moments of tears from being so proud of him! He shipped out today for Sheppard AFB in Wichita Falls, TX. He will be there for about 5 months of schooling.
AND, our son-in-law, Dean, returned home today from his 3rd tour in Iraq. My daughter and I were chatting and she reminded me that in the past 3 years, Dean has only been home for 4 months. With any luck, Dean will be home for the next year with his family!.
I do start my new job on Monday. I was rehired to a company that I used to work for, several years ago. I will be doing Nurse Case Management for injured workers (work comp cases). I'm really excited!
My brother Frank, is finally home from the hospital, after over 3 months. He continues to improve and is sounding stronger all the time. He still has a long ways to go but he is finally getting there!
Well with any luck...... life might start settleing into a routine. John and I would welcome a routine, especially if that house in El Paso would finally get sold, as it is STILL on the market!
I just want to thank everyone for all of your love and prayers over these months. It's been difficult for us but it always helped knowing that I had such wonderful friends here. I felt terrible at times because it just seemed that I always had more bad news on top of bad news.
Your all loved and appreciated so much!![]()
