    Default Adding additional fonts?

Can you add different fonts to Scrapbook Max? If so, is it done the same way as you would a jpg/png?

    Thanks!!!

    Two ways to do it.

AcidFonts has great font choices. Just download the font, unzip the file, and move the TT file to the fonts section of your computer. START>CONTROL PANEL>FONTS. It will then be available for any program using fonts on the computer.
Problem is this method overloads the computer and slows it down.

I started saving fonts with a method I learned from Granny.
Download the font the same as above but store it in a separate file on the hard drive. I have an external drive and store the extra fonts in there. When needed, I open (double-click) that file and then start the MAX program. The font will show up on the pull-down font list. Bad thing is the font changes to a default font when the font is closed. It is more of an inconvenience than a problem. Just open the font before you open Max again. When the layout is saved as a jpg, the font is on the layout forever.

It is a good way to test new fonts. If you use it a lot, then install it in the permanent section.

A third way is to look for ALPHA Letters. You can download these at digiscrapdepot.com. They are usually png files and are used just like any clipart.
