Advice Please

Hello everyone! I'm new here...just downloaded the trial today and so far I love it.

I would love some advice.

I am planning to make a movie or VCD of my son's "first year" to show at his birthday party (and burn copies as party favors). I will probably also print out some of the pages.

Do I make one large scrapbook by adding many pages or do I create several mini-books for each stage/theme/holiday/etc?

I looked quickly through the help file and didn't see much information on the movie feature. I don't know if you can have the movie "play" book after book and link them together or if I need to just create lots of pages in one file/book.

Also, is there a good place to look for more information on the differences between movies, VCDs and slideshow CDs and how to create them?

I think I'm going to purchase the full version soon as I'm very excited to have access to more themes and all the "goodies." Are there a lot of 'boy' and 'kid' themed pages?

I only have a month so I'm going to be working pretty feverishly so I'd also appreciate any advice you have for good links to downloads that work well with Scrapbook MAX! (Money is tight so I won't be able to purchase a lot of add-on packs.)

Sorry for all the questions. I'm sure the answers are here somewhere but time is short and I didn't see anything at a quick glance. Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions!

hey, welcome to our wonderful community....sorry I'm not much help when it comes to the video side of things as I haven't done one of those yet.....as for template download sites there is a section under the forum where fellow sbm members recommend sites that you should check out......also in the templates and embelishment forums you will find lots of freebies that the wonderful people on here have been very generous to share.......I am sure someone will be along in a bit to help with your video/cd questions....good scrappin
