Please help satisfy my curosity. If you could have taken an introductory class featuring SBM, what would you have liked to learn as a beginner?

I wasted a lot of time trying to figure out how people did things that aren't possible to do with scrapbookmax. I needed something to tell me what I couldn't do.
Also, (off topic) I have no idea what people are saying when they use texting lingo. It took me months to figure out that LO was layout. Since the one thing that I knew was LOL, I figured that it had something to do with laughingLinda

I agree with Angel. I was months figuring out that there was a color "wheel" under SEPIA under the advanced effects. I thought the only place to adjust the color was....well....Adjust Color! Then I was trying to guess the sliding combination of Hue and Saturation to come close to a color I wanted. Also, it would have been nice to know that I could make a copy of an item by hitting Edit>Copy, Edit>Paste instead of right clicking and hitting copy which doesn't work. I don't know what that copies but I haven't been able to find what I "copied" that way. LOL!
Also, the My Documents>SBM> etc to find the Resources I used for a layout was great to have......after I finally found it.Last edited by O2BNGdHope; 05-27-2008, 08:26 AM.Melanie
In case I go missing call Moonlightpearl, Granny, twpclerk or Smile! Then have them call Crops because we're probably together at the Yoville Races!

And maybe learning a little more about masks would be helpful. Some people are still confused about what those are.

Thanks to all the wonderful challenges held in the forum, or it may take me 'years' to figure out the 'secret' of the 'effect' button and shapes...LOL.sigpic

Hello there!
Just a reminder to everyone looking for more information about using Scrapbook MAX! that we have a User's Guide available in the program under Help, and online at http://www.scrapbookmax.com/webhelp.
We also have a series of video tutorials available at:
(and more are scheduled to be posted in the next week or so). Both beginners and seasoned scrappers will benefit from the info in these short videos!
Of course, as many of you have expressed, there are so many features in Scrapbook MAX! (like all of the various Effects) that nothing beats playing with the program and experimenting to find out all the neat things you can do!
As always, remember to post your suggestions in the Suggestions forum where we are sure to find them!
Happy Scrapping!

I want info on turning pages into dvd's for tv
It seems like most people are printing their pages out. But for those of us who are using them to put on dvd's and watch on tv it would be nice for some extra info on that. I've already wasted 3 dvds trying to get it right and I'm still not getting the full page to show up on the tv.
Thanks
