Angel the challenge starting on mondays for you guys is not fair to us here in Australia because it's tuesday here, ok I don't mean to complain just telling the fact! LOL!

Our peaceful, tranquil creek became a roaring river today after the heavy rains yesterday and last night. See the before picture from last summer compared to the flooding now. If you look closely, you can see the leaves marking the flood line before the water began to recede. I didn't get home in time to get the highest point but you can still see the debris that washed in. What a mess. At least it's not in the house! The house is some distance above the creek so it would take much more rain than this to reach us here.
