    Default SBM software

    HI all,

I am so happy I just received my cd today but now I am wondering if I got the right one. I ordered the Classic edition and mine is a starter edition is this the same?
When I wanted to look for more themes (there was only one page) I was asking to look in SBM online.I thought that I would have more than one page for themes, I was very surprised.
And the last thing, I was asked to register but I am already, so I am rather confuse now.

If anyone could help me I would be very grateful, thanks.

    Heh Moon,
When you place your cd in the drive.... it should auto run the software .. (remember you told me yours is winxp too). You shall see three section . Sbm software install..... templates or embellishment (don't remember which one) and last is the video tutorials. I believe you are getting the right one cos that time sbm only have 2 version. The other is Wedding edition which is in purplelish color. Once you install.. when open up sbm , you will find all the templates and emb. (click the 'heart shape icon' on top of the software) and fonts (the alpha icon) in neat arrangement. (all papers in 'paperscrap' icon section (the icon right after the heart shape and alpha). Hope it solve your worry.

(NOTE : Don't forget to click the second button in the cd to install the rest ( contain all temp. emb. paper and fonts after click the first button to dl the sbm software. If not you won't see your emb etc . )

    Hi Lolly,

It did not auto run I had to write in the run section. I installed the cd so that was easy. But maybe I forgot to do something.
All I can see when I double click on SBM icon is that page where I have to choose between start a new scrapbook and another one. Maybe I shoud try to uninstall and try again I might have forgotten something. There was no 3 section like you mentioned.

Thank you so much for your help sweetie. I shall try again.

    Hello!

Sounds to me like you installed the software (i.e., that's what puts the design space and digital scrapbooking tools on your system) but you did not install the Content Pack (that's where all the kits and templates are).

Simply insert the CD-ROM, and choose to Install Content Pack - this will import all of the included kits and templates into the software.

    Hope that helps!

    Karin
