gallery comments

Firstly I want to say thank you, to all of you that make such lovely comments in the gallery pages about my LO's.

I started making replies in the gallery. but thought hmmm you wouldn't know I was making a reply unless you got some kind of notification, which you don't!

So my suggestion is it would be nice to have some kind of notification directed to an individual that has commented about your LO.

EG: Kapi (thanks for all your lovely comments sandrine) leaves a comment for wench.
Wench replies thank you
wench is able to click a square that says inform Kapi of your reply

Just so that kapi knows I have acknowledged and appreciated her nice comment.

I like comments. LOL. So it's normal that I also comment the pages. And Wench you make very beautiful pages.

Hmm not sure what you mean - You can get an email when someone comments on your layout in the gallery but in order to do so - you must have it set up correctly in your email preferences in the forum. You can find it under SETTINGS.

This is how I know someone made a comment. I look at the number of times someone made a comment on my page.
Before:
My Photos · My Albums · My Favorites · [ 1 message ]

After:
Then after I make a comment back the number changes.
My Photos · My Albums · My Favorites · [2 message ]

I then remove the comments, so the next time I come back to the form, I see more comments, I then comment back on the new ones.

This is how I do it, but it would be nice to actually be notified somehow. Great suggestion!

I agree... more member involvement here would be encouraged and that is great..
