You can recolour it, the world is your oyster! do whatever you want to it as long as it is on the page in some way shape or form. The only thing I don't want you to do is distort it ie make it squished, it needs to stay in the same form.

I am not doing any demo pages I want you to come up with something.

And you know what else? I don't want anyone posting their LO until about 1 weeks time because I want you all to have your own individual interpretations of it without anyone seeing someone elses to get ideas bwahahahaha aren't I mean!

So just post in here when you have completed your LO and let me know and when everyone has done one, then you can upload them into SBM

This is an easy challenge, use whatever kit you want, do whatever you want to do to make your wallpaper look like YOU! Choose a calender to add if you want, put family photos in, cover it in flowers or car parts lol whatever you want and show us what you have done.

This is something you can do every month, or leave it on for however long you can stand looking at it, obviously if you have a calender on it you might want to change it once month. I just found a calender on google images, just type in "PNG may calender"

So get rid of the ugly windows wallpapers and jazz up your own, can't wait to see what you do.

Oh and by the way you might have to change your BG size, I made mine 10 x 6 as my laptop is a 15.4" screen, so the picture fits nicely on my screen. Also remember where your icons are, I like to keep that area uncluttered so you can see them properly, however you can move the icons around to fit in with your wallpaper too.

I'm sure you all know how to put a wallpaper on your screen, but just in case, save your SBM image same as a large size, open up wherever you save your LO's and open it up and right click and save as wallpaper. I would like to see at least 4 photos, they could be consecutive ones - taken one after the other. Plus at least a paragraph about what you scrapped about. And a bold title.

Here is an example of a LO for this challenge
The Kit I used is from Kapiscraps - Colors of Spring parts 1 2 and 3



**to insert the link for the kit you use follow these steps
1 - right click on kits and templates at the top of the sbm page and open up to a new window.
2 - Find the kit you have used and open that kit up ( find the persons name on left hand side and open up to their kits and find it through this means)
3 - right up the top you have your bar where it will say www.scrapbookmax etc etc, right click and copy that address
4 - In the description area after you have uploaded your LO type in the designer you used and then the kits name then this after the = paste the link you just copied, make sure your mouse fits in snuggly between the = and ] this will create the link thAT CAN BE PRESSED ON AND IT WILL TAKE YOU STRAIGHT TO THE KIT YOU USED.

Why do this? If someone likes your LO and goes to the gallery to look at it they might decide they want the kit so it makes it easy for them to go to it.
Obviously this isn't neccessary or required, but it can help our lovely designers.

Carena's Recipe Challenge
Steps:

1. Make a page with a solid white background.
2. Choose one color to feature (in my example I choose blue)
You can use only tones of your colour choice with black & white in your layout. (in my example the flower buds had small amounts of green - so long as it's minimal)
3. Use a shape to frame your entire page and color it either Black or your color choice.
4. Add a Black and White photo and tint it in the smallest amounts of your chosen color. Must be barely detectable.
5. Add 8 to 15 embellishments to your page. Remember only in your color tones or black and white. How you arrange them is up to you.
6. Add some text in various sizes - a quote/verse.
7. Remember to add shadows to all of your elements to give depth of field. Don't over do it. Remember the rules of shadows - the greater the distance from the item to the surface - the further away the element - the closer the element the closer the shadow. Image your elements are laying on top of a piece of paper with the light coming from the top and slightly to the side.
8. Lastly save and share your layout with us in the forum and gallery. Remember to give credits for the designer and kit used in your layouts in the gallery.

Here is my layout example for you to have a look at. I hope it helps inspire you and helps you understand my instructions.
