I thought maybe this might be a good idea. I find I don't always have time to go back through all the threads to read and I really want to keep everyone in my prayers. So... I though we might start a prayer chain and you could just leave a post with the name and story if you so chose of those you would like to have on the prayer chain. Just an idea...
Please keep my sister in your prayers. Thanks!
She is bipolar and newly married. She called the other night stating that she was not in a "good place". Not close enough to go be with her as she deals with mind, marriage, and health issues.

I can just see this thread being as popular as Granny's "Days of our Scraps" -- what a great idea to keep it all in one spot and make it easy to add to my daily prayer journal! *pats Jamie on the back for the idea* :D
Will keep your sis in prayers, Jamie!
What an original idea Jamie... well don.
My uncle died on Wednesday (84yrs). He was married to my Dad's only sister.
Please keep his family in your prayers. Many thanks.

What a wonderful idea, This will definitely be well used and well read.
I didn't see this until I had responded to your post Jamie on 'About Jazz's daughter'.
Could you please pray for my sister whose husband walked out after what she thought were 21 happy years of marriage and is finding life very hard. Also for my 21 year old son who has been off sick since August and may always be dependent on me. Thank you my friends x

Why is it on screen, we are so easily bold
Telling our secrets that have never been told
The answer is simple, it is as clear as a bell
We all have our problems, and need someone to tell
We can't tell real people, but tell someone we must
So we turn to our "puters" and to those we can trust
Even though it sounds crazy....the truth still remains
Most of my "friends" have no faces ....and odd little names
I found this little poem and just had to share it. This is a great idea and it does not matter what you believe in, just believe that we are here for each other and that is what our prayer's are about .........wishing each other love, healing, safety, and much happyness in your lives........xoxo

Great idea. It is so hard to read everything and especially if you miss a day or too in coming on. Can never seem to catch up. I try to add 'everyone that needs someone or something' to the end of my prayer list. We are all God's children and all know someone who needs that little extra.

great idea
please am asking for prayers for a good friend of my stepmum ( who died from cancer of the pancreas that spread to her lungs )
she is in the final stages of her battle with bowel cancer ( wich also now spread to her lungs)
so requesting a special prayer that she will pass peacefully.
she is not a believer of God ( neither am i )
but i am a believer of prayer in all its forms
and a special prayer for my little girls best friends mother.
she got the 'clear' from breastcancer last december, when after Chemo they operated to take out the last bit.
but is now undergoing radiaton for 3 months ( untill march)
to make sure she is all clear
her girl is only 6 months older than my girl ( she will be 6 in May!!)
so pray that she will be 'all clear' and it will never come back!
thank you
and me i am praying for all here
every nite
take care
and all the best

she's hanging in there. Her husband has been kicked out of rehab, alcohol rehab. In there she found out some things about him that she did not know and some lies that he fooled her with. He is playing on her insecurities right now, but she isn't doing anything rash, just sitting back and letting it play out a little.
Thanks so much for asking!

Adding everyone who needs it to my thoughts and prayers
And being humbled that I or my family don't need to be on anyone's list at the moment....but if there's room for a little one, then just say thank you for that......

Hey, all. My niece, Shelly082274, is new on here but they just had to put her son, Devon, in the hospital this morning. Her whole family had been sick with a bad case of the flu for a couple weeks now. Devon was still coughing very badly and yesterday started complaining that his rib hurt so bad he couldn't stand up straight. They took him to the DR this AM and admitted him for Pnuemonia and pleurisy. (spelling?) He's just turned 11 this month. Poor thing. They all need your prayers. At least his grandma is retired and can stay with him.

Devon is not improving and they moved him this evening to Morgantown, WV's Medical Center. Being a university hospital, they have newer equipment and tests that they don't have in the local hospital. They said one lung is full of puss and the other full of fluid and he's not getting enough oxygen. His white blood cell count is way too high. He really needs your prayers. Shelly is staying with him leaving 4 other children home alone with Dad. They all need prayers.

More bad news tonight. They had to do surgery today to do a biopsy and to remove the puss from the one lung. They put a drain tube into his back but the puss is so thick it's not draining. They did the biopsy (I think that's the right word) so they could remove some of the absess because they don't know what's wrong with him and will have to "grow a culture" to fight it with. it will take 4 days to grow this culture and then I guess they use medicine on it to see what works on it? Or maybe the culture was what they were going to use to make the medicine itself. Mom wasn't sure when she called. (Mom is just healing after her own ordeal and now she has a bacteria called clostridium dificile. It's very contagious and very bad so she's still not doing well herself and can't be there with Devon and the family.) Please, Please! Continue to keep them in your prayers!

An update to Shelly's son, Devon. He was to come home yesterday. I assume that happened but I haven't heard yet today. They took care of the pneumonia and lung problem but he developed a severe staff infection while there and will have to have IV's at home for the next 3 weeks. Shelly and her husband have used up all their time off from work so Grandparents are taking turns with him. Home health will come as needed and he is getting home schooling to try to keep him from falling behind and being left behind for a year. Please continue to keep them in your prayers.

Girls, do you remember the little one we lost back in December? Her name was Lily (see the thread below).
https://www.scrapbookmax.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8480&page=3
Well, anyway, her parents (my husband's nephew and wife) are pregnant again. Please pray that this pregnancy goes well. They have already lost 2 babies within this past year. Little Lily was born too early and stayed with us for 4 short months before she went home to the Lord. This time mommy is going to be stitched at 14 weeks and then will have to be on bed rest for most of the pregnancy. Her due date is in October.
Please God let this one be all right.

Thank you all for your kindness and concern!!! I do have Bronchitis and a touch of pneumonia, but I'm feeling better. The problem now is that antibiotics really hurt my stomach, and I'm having terrible diahrr.... Sorry, don't want to be rude here.
I really appreciate all your kindness and will keep you all in my prayers as well. You too Wolvsie, punkin!!!

This prayer chain was such a wonderful idea..I know that the prayers from SBM have power in them..and prayer is the most important and wonderful thing we can do for anyone..I am adding my grandson Josh's name to this list..he is not a bad boy..he just got hooked on pain pills and now is hooked on methedone..it has been so hard on him since he lost his mom..he found her and it has about driven him crazy...he will hardly leave that old house..he says she is there and he talks to her..I have him here and he is going to try and detox...I am so afraid for him and we need the Lords help to make it thru this..I know this is dangerous and I am going on the internet to try and find some answers on what to do..so please please pray for him..about the drugs and about his mothers death..he needs to find some peace and grieve normally..and pray for me that I will know what to do to help him..and pray for poor chase who has to put up with both of us...
thanks all of you..I love you lots

OHHHH! Jazz such sad news again. I am praying that you can make a difference in Josh. To lose your mom like that is not easy for anyone, and especially with him being so close to her. I am glad that you got him out of the house-but this is not going to be easy, and no one knows that better than you! My prayers are going out to you!!
