Will someone please clarify for me what we can use in templates to give out here.

I know that we cannot use things we bought if they say personal use only. But it's OK if they say commercial use.

I know we can use things from SBMax. Presumably everyone using SBMax templates has access to those anyway.

What I am not totally clear about is using things given away here. Can they all be used, since any of us can also download them? Or do they have to say, "Use any way you wish," as many do. For instance, I have assumed that items made and shared during a challenge are allright to use in the templates we share here. Is that correct?

P.S. One suggestion to reduce the size of the templates is, after you have published it, right click on the photos and go to "clear image". Then export it. I have found in the past that it makes them a lot smaller.

Thank you for the baby compliment. She was definately a cutie and has grown into a beauty. Time goes so fast! She's now into boys and proms etc. In 3 short years she's off to college! :eek:

We haven't had this much snow yet this year. This was from a nor'easter we had a few years ago. We got all this in just 24 hours. The broken icicles at the far window are from where we had to break through them to get out the window so we could shovel the snow off the flat part of the roof. Didn't want it to collapse. The cat on the sidewalk really hated all that snow.......he's usually an outdoor cat.


The shapes are from AutisticWonders Frilly Frames kit (including that light blue triple heart on the "notepad".) The heart alpha was from Makeyesup available in the freebie embellishments.

Oh my.... I have just been yanking out my hair by the grey roots.... GrannyScraps, thanks for the challenge; it was both a lot of fun and a challenge as I seem to always use straight lines and your kit had fun curves! I kept trying and ended up making 12 pages for a little 6" book of the least camera phobic family member. I posted the pages in the gallery and included the template here. (You'll see that I need more practice with "everything doesn't have to be in a straight line.")

Challenges are all about stretching and stepping outside our comfort zone (if it weren't, it wouldn't be a challenge.... LOL).... You may not be "comfortable" with using "fun curves" but you did a really nice job on your layouts for this challenge.... and I LOVED your choice of subjects....
