CONTEST DETAILS

This month's contest is called "Real-Life Superstars!”. We want to see layouts celebrating the everyday stars in our lives. Maybe she's a great friend who always lends a hand, or a firefighting daughter who makes you and the community proud, or a six year old son who dazzles us with his first piano recital. You get the picture - we're surrounded by stars!

One added contest challenge: Be sure to tell us why the subject of your layout is a real-life superstar (in journal text, or in the description posted in the gallery).

We will be honoring 3 winning layouts. The 1st place winner of the "Real-Life Superstars" contest will receive a $20 gift certificate to the Scrapbook MAX! Booster Pack Store (http://www.scrapbookmax.com/store/home.php). Two runners-up will each receive an official Scrapbook MAX! mousepad.

To enter, publish your layout as a JPEG image at High Quality and Web/Email size, and upload it to the contest page (http://www.scrapbookmax.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=2038). The deadline is Wednesday, November 28, 2007, 5:00 pm (CST).

We encourage you to reply to this thread after you enter the contest. Post a link to your entry and tell us a bit about it so we can all get in on the fun!

With all the wonderful heroes in our lives, I thought maybe this wouldn't fit. However, the more that I thought of it, what better hero than a good parent, my son-in-law.

I've tried 3 times and the link won't come through. Hope the picture does.

I totally agree, smiling is contagious. It doesn't even require a live person, looking at layouts like this make me smile too. Great job, pk, he's a doll.
