View Full Version : Hiding Out In New England

Hi Everyone,

I've been hiding out in New England this past week. I don't get to commune with nature too much, but when I do, it's usually pretty good.

Went to the coast of Maine on Friday... it was bright, sunny and 72 degrees in October. It doesn't get much better than that. On top of everything else, we got to see a moose just standing off the side of the road.

Have a great week and I'll be back at it on Thursday of this coming week.

wow, a bull moose too. we saw a young moose in Bar Harbor once. When we mentioned it to some one there, they said they didn't have moose there it must have been a deer....not. We know what deer look like and we have seen moose at Isle Royale in Lake Superior (by the way that is where I am at right now, in Minnesota by Lake Superior. It is beautiful! I am using the computer in the lobby! Great pics Steve. Hurry back we miss you.

Well, as much as I hate to leave New England, I'll be back home late tonight. :o

My wife Shelley has never been here before, so I took her up to eastern Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. The fall colors are at their peak, so we caught them at just the right time.

We stopped at this farm stand and they had an entire field of large plushy animals... Cows, ducks, pigs, foxes, etc. Funniest thing I ever saw. Check out the photos.

I feel another autumn template coming on... :D

Oh, how totally adorable. I want a cow too! And the pictures are gorgeous. Yes, an autumn layout would be perfect.

Just one question?..... How in the world did you end up with such a gorgeous chick for a wife? And I'm glad she is no longer missing.
