The other day I finally upgraded to IE7 and now I keep getting kicked off the internet!!! Does anyone else have problems like this? I never had this problem, but now almost every time I try to post something, or even moving from one post to another I get kicked off!!! It says it has encountered a problem and has to shut down-sorry for any inconvenience!! I even click on the part that says send report to microsoft, but never hear anything!!! Can anyone help? Do I need to uninstall it? Making my internet surfing and my time on here very unstable. :(

Can't help ya -- I stopped using IE years ago. (I've used Opera and Firefox for years now, depending on the work I'm doing...never have a problem with either, even after upgrades.) Maybe one of the resident techies will know what needs to be done. *gets out gray tape and begins taping Doll to cyberspace so we don't lose her*

I switched to Firefox too some years ago. I did try Internet Explorer 7 for a day but soon went back to Firefox :)

I checked out Version 7 just to see what it looked like and wasn't too impressed. It uninstalled easy enough through Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs and got me back to version 6. No ill effects that I can see.
I'm with most of the others, been using Firefox for years and love it. Only reason I ever use IE 6 is for the windows updates.
I LOVE IE7..... been using it now for months.
Love the facility of multi-tabs.
Just wait ~~ something will go wrong now.......... LOL

I tried it for a day but uninstalled it. I like Firefox so much better. Maybe you can download Firefox and give it a try.

Thanks everyone. A friend of mine also said uninstall it and download firefox. He loves firefox and only keeps IE6 on for updates and such. I guess the only thing I can do at this point is uninstall it and see what happens. Thank you!

Well I uninstalled IE7 and now I am not getting kicked off anymore. YIPPEEE! I guess I really don't need IE7-but I still plan to download firefox because of all the rave reviews. Thank you all!

Pkdoll, my honey works as an IT Tech and said they have more problems with the Fire...program...But everyone is different..He mentioned, that you might of had some breaks in the download, and should try to download it again after reinstalling it and then make sure you reboot the system after downloading it...Just a suggestion..But he didn't become head of the department for not knowing anything...<wink> I used it and hated it...IE7 gives you more options and tabs...I will leave it up to you..He could always come out there sometime and do a complete overhaul on your computer...lol..Mine works like a super mom now...hehehe...:D
BTW, your DIL is such a hoot...we had a blast tonight...Thanks..She says you and I are peas in a pod..lol...
