Hi I've been with the site for two weeks.
I have just recieved my CD-Rom and i love it.
I am trying to download free items but still having problems.

Hi
I clicked on Embellishment and found all these downloads
I clicked on 4 pack of painterly floral backgrounds
Then I clicked on Attached File ( painterly floral . smb )
A box askes me to open or save so i open
After I have download it
It tells me Result 4 files added
But when i go into scrapbook max it isn't to be found
But when i down loaded embellishment it is in the embellishment file in the scrabook max program

When i try to download it again it tells me 4 file added straight away.

it happen on background and kit i think thats what you call them.

Hello Linda,

I see what you mean -- I've submitted this as a bug (ref: 13113).

In the mean time, you can find these particular embellishments here (Assuming you installed to the default location):
C:\Program Files\Scrapbook MAX!\Gallery\Images\Backgrounds

I went to My Documents / Scrapbook Max then it has 3 folders

projects
Published files
Templates

looked in all 3 and there is no background

please help

Hello,

You'll have to look into your 'Program Files' folder. If you click Start -> Run, and type this:

C:\Program Files\Scrapbook MAX!\Gallery\Images\Backgrounds

Then click 'OK', it should take you right to the backgrounds.

I have found them well you have found them.
But how do i find them again why does it say C:\Program Files\Scrapbook MAX!\Gallery\Images\Backgrounds when you go the other way and they arn't there and how do i use them im still on my l's.do i have to save them again?

Hello Linda,

You can 'browse' for the images from within Scrapbook MAX!. With regards to the four flower backgrounds:
1. right click on a blank page and choose 'Properties'
2. Click 'Browse' (bottom left)
3. Click 'Gallery' (on the left)
4. Browse for your images!

I tryed what you told me but when you right click it did not say properties

So i clicked on the heart and then browsed i found the flower background but when i used it you drag the side from the middle and the side and the middle moved at the same time so i carn't make it fit

Sorry, got confused! I meant right click on a blank page and choose 'Settings'.

I have placed the flower background on the page but still can't move to the size of the page you move the side with your mouse but the bottom moved
I can't resize the background can you resize in scrapbook max.
I need to spend more time learning this program.

You will love it here once you have ironed out all the bugs, it takes a while to get familiar with it, (actually I have lots to learn myself) but you will be as addicted as the rest of us, so enjoy & look forward to seeing some work from you in the future :)

There is no pressure here to finish a L/O quickly, so take your time & enjoy, amazing how it all comes together, I must admit,some are easier than others, I have some only half finished & put away for another day, thats the fun of it , anyway,have fun & will enjoy seeing your L/O's when the time is right :)
