    Hi There!

I am almost at the end of my trial period, and have to decide whether to buy. That was the reason for logging onto this forum.

I only read as far as MaryL's message and the replies before I knew that this is definitely a group I want to be part of! If one can talk about such serious stuff as cancer, and get support from the group, I want to be part! If only I had such a group in 1999 when I went through chemo, radiation, BALD HEAD(!) and the rest (breast cancer). Hang in there, Mary, your friend will appreciate your love, more than ever.

I have only been a scrapper for a year, but am driving everyone around me up the walls with my addiction. We live on a farm in rural South Africa, although I am a Communications Specialist at the local manganese mine. I have bought so many embellishments, papers, and what not that I will be busy for weeks, so I think digi might help me get rid of some of the ants in the pants!

    Love you all already!

Ina, baby... Welcome to the forum!

We are delighted to have you. Sorry to hear about your ordeal, but glad is over and you're a survivor. I just lost an aunt to lung cancer, and have my uncle getting chemo right now for the same thing. Already lost my grandmother and another uncle to it. So I understand a little of the pain involved.

Other than that, we are an extremely serious group. Every one is calm and composed, we have a contemplative approach to scrapping! We are very serene around here.

O.k, you crazies out there, welcome the new kid to the asylum!!!!

          Welcome Ina,

I'll be the FIRST one to admit I'm not so serious (anymore).. Wecome to our little "Clan of the Cave Scrappers"

...and don't listen to Granny... i.e. "we are an extremely serious group. Every one is calm and composed..." ... She suffers from that "sometimers" disease.

Hi Ina! Welcome aboard! You're going to have a blast here - everyone's fun and maybe even a bit out of control - in a good way, of course! Looking forward to seeing some of your work in the gallery...

                Thanks

                Hi Everyone

Thanks for making me feel so welcome.

Yes, Srussell, I thought Granny was suffering a bit of delusions, calling everyone calm and serious. Who wants to be calm and serious when they can scrap?!!

I received my CD today, and can't wait to get home to try it out.

                Have a jolly day!

Ok, you bunch of stuff shirts... We are serious around here! Do I have to put you all throught the initiation ceremony again? How would you like that? Oh, and we are adding the ultimate torture impliment to the tools..... A feather! Wait till you have to go through that one.

                        Welcome from another Newbie!

Welcome, Ina. It's so much fun to hear from someone from South Africa. Isn't the internet wonderful?

I used the trial version for awhile and really liked it, but when you get the full version it's so much better! It's really great for a beginning scrapper and you can combine it with the paper, etc. you already have. That's what I'm doing.

                        Have fun!
                        Julie
