Kode, why don't you kick this section off with some topic that is totally non-scrapbook related and see what kind of mess we can make around here? :D
Gee where is granny when I need her??!! I'm sure she would do a much better job of kicking us off on a topic. Or Steve you would do a great job. By the way Steve when I asked about music awhile back you didn't tell me about the music you have!!! Thanks alot, I see how you are!:D . Your music is great thanks for sharing (even though you waited so long:D )

Yes... where is Granny when we need her? we usually can't get a word in edgewise... LMOA
Oops, it looks like I dropped the ball on the music thingy... Kode, here's the link if you didn't get earlier... http://www.iireproductions.com/phacets/phacets.htm
Corey is definitely no slouch... He's got some serious chops as well... like to hear more of his stuff...
Oh does Corey sing too? I would love to hear that too. He already suprised me by saying he has long dark hair.
Moonbeam looks like what I pictured her to look like but not Steve or
Corey(by his descirption). It's funny how you have a picture in you mind of what people look like and then it isn't anything like it. Kinda like with radio DJ's when they don't end up looking like what you pictured. Not that looks matter but it is still fun knowing.
Steve your music is awesome you have alot of talent!
Alot of people here are showing their talents in different areas It is great! I sure wished I had some of that talent all of you guys have!!!

The funnest part was when I taught a web design class at a University here. People were like, "Whaaa?" when I came rolling into the faculty area with my skateboard and long hair. :D
My singing used to be semi-respectable, sang in a couple small bands, etc. But nowadays lack of practice has caught up with me. Singing is something you have to practice regularly in order to maintain good tone, or at least for me anyhow. I think right now my voice is sort of a smooth blend between the call of a howler monkey and Luciano Pavorotti getting caught in a garage door. :D
True story -> My first gig ever was at a tiny club in Edmonton called "The Ritz Diner". For some reason I wore a tie. I never wear ties so I'm not at all sure why I did that. This was in the days of zip-up leather ties. The tie I had was super tight, and it had no leeway whatsoever. The net result being that my face looked like a swollen plum all night from getting half-choked by the tie, and I nearly fainted during all the high notes. In fact I was pretty sure I had fainted a couple times and was surprised to discover that I hadn't. Hee. I've never worn a tie to a gig since. :D

HeeeHaaaaa!!! We got it! Alright you powers that be... Thank you so much for listening to your fans!!!
Ok. group, what kind of madness should be try for our grand opening? Funny, I just got home from going to the movies, we saw "Over the Hedge" and it was so funny, I'm all worn out! Can't think of anything crazy right now. But, give it time.
Tell you what, I will give someone else the privilege, I'm just happy to have the new section here.

These days I'm mainly brushing up on production and engineering. Haven't played as much as I should for a little while now. So much to learn, only 24 hours in each day. :)
Wow your music is great Corey!!! You are a very multi-talented person as well as alot of other people here!
I do know what you men about only 24 hours in a day!! You would think that would be plenty but it just isn't quite enough time in a day.
Thanks for sharing your music I appreciate it!

Wow, Corey, you may not sing the blues, but you play them! Awesome! You and Steve should get together and take the show on the road. Moonbeam and I will do the warm up comedy part!

There is a place on his website that lets you download a few songs for free.
For kids shows or family shows, I love the tune named Alexandra. It is a free download.
The kids love it too.

Thank you so much for your Pic Corey, you Rock!
I understand the "I'm not really a picture person " thing myself as I am the most unphotogenic person in the world, so really do appreciate you posting that pic, believe me there are 1000,s harder on the eyes than you.:)
Also we all know you are far from aloof or unfriendly, quite the opposite actually....as I have mentioned before it just helps us put a face to that lovely voice of yours :)
Your cat Boo Boo is a sweetie & I think most of us have had a mouse(or cockroaches) or two bought to us as presents to show what great mousers they are, gotta love em :D

Wow Corey finally!! Everyone looks similar to what I pictured except for you Corey but maybe thats because I had a voice to you as well and not just going by the personality like I have the others. You look great. But hey where is your skateboard!? You have your cat and guitar and we all know there is one more thing in you life!:D
Since we are doing pics and all. Here is me when I used to have long hair. Now I am all respectable looking
Adam.
You crack me up Adam! So where is your respectable picture!?:D

Wow, ain't they both cute? Handsome dudes!!! If I was 30 years younger..... I would still marry my honey bunny, but you guys really are cute!
But you know what I find to be the nicest thing of all.... That such young people like yourselves are so nice and wholesome! It's so refreshing to come to a forum where we can joke around, help each other, share pictures and talent, and not have to be afraid to open the page because of what could be lurking behing them. I had to quit several forums because of that.
So please, stay the way you are, we love you for it. And that applies to every one else here too. Even Steve. You are all wonderful.
I really like all of you nuts!!

Wow, what a bunch of great looking men we have here. And so talented too! The musical talent here is awesome. First Steve and now Corey. Any place to find more of your work Corey? I think I could get some work done if I had more of your music to listen to while working on my graphics.

Man you look totally different! I have seen both the pictures that Steve and Adam told us to see but had no clue that was the same Adam! The long hair Adam looks my nephew. The new Adam doesn't. You look great both ways. Thanks for sharing your pictures.

Gee don't I know it(the cold winters)! I'm not too far off from Winnipeg. Actually alot of people go visit there quite often and have a blast.

Adam is da man!!! Truly. As for my music, I do have other stuff but nothing anyone here would consider music. Here's my most recent piece for example, be seriously pre-warned though:
http://www.archive.org/stream/Music_Calgary_PD_1B/Music_Calgary_PD_1B_vbr.m3u
That's pretty much my main genre. So you can see why it'd be pointless posting my music for 99.9999999% of folks here. What can I say, I'm a child of the 70s/80s. :D

Clarification....
I did not say it was bad... It's just not the type of music I enjoy! A little heavy on the metal? :D
But, technically speaking, it's actually very good.
Is that better?

No worries Granny, I know exactly what you mean... :)
I grew up during the era of electric guitar excess. Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, etc. these are the heroes of my youth in the same way someone a generation up from me might have related to Elvis or Chuck Berry. So naturally it ended up being the style I pursued. All musicians focus on the style that was cool during their teens at some point... :)
Gee whiz Corey just tell us how old you are!!
