I did this once before and I need to do it again - when I look at the gallery I see such beautiful work by all of you and sometimes I put a one-word comment on it when I want to put so much more!
Since this is our first time as "snowbirds" I didn't realize how hectic it would get during the last 2-3 weeks - everyone is having good-by parties, we are trying to finish up all the projects we started and then abandoned, I'm trying to finish scrapbooking at least some of Ron's Arizona photos, etc., etc. I also am trying to finish typing a memoir for a dear friend. I just want you all to know how wonderful your layouts are - from vintage albums to travel albums to creative team layouts to psychodelic layouts, to gorgeous artistic creations and generous gifts of templates, papers and embellishments.
If I don't actually get to comment on your layouts it's because I'm flying through everything right now - I'll always be lurking!! LOL At least, until the computer is disconnected in about 1 1/2 weeks.
SBM rocks! It's the greatest site with an absolutely great group of people!!
Love to all,
Oh you are sooooooooo kind & thoughtful. We love your work too!!!!
Now, where do you move from/to. One is Arizona ~ where's the other home?
I take it that you're moving out of Arizona very soon before it becomes much too hot. We were visiting with friends two years ago in Mesa & they pack up end May/beginning June & go back to Montana until September.
We don't have that problem here in the UK ~ until global warming gets hold that is LOL LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to chuckle when reading your posts about getting ready to go to your summer home! As you know, Julie, my folks live in Mesa (Near Steve) and they lose a lot of their population for the summer too. My folks stick it out in the 117+ temp of summer......... Incrediable!!!!! I think I am going to consider snow birding someday too!!!! I have neighbors next door that live deep in Mexico and they pop in here a few days a month. DANG, what a life!
I do understand that your very busy getting ready to go back to Spokane! BTW, do you need me to stop in to your Tuscon home to check the mail or water the roses and yard while your gone?
Just do not be out of contact with us for long, as your venture back to your summer home! We miss you dearly. Have a safe move back and don't party too hard. You got a lot of work to do to get ready.

Thanks so much, everyone! We'll be going 1500 miles north to Spokane, Washington and staying there until early October. It's hard to leave here, but we're excited to see everyone, too! I'll keep checking in until the last computer plug comes out!!! LOL - Your parents are so brave, Onie! 117 degrees is hard to imagine!

I totally agree Julie! I am planning one more trip over there before it gets TOO HOT!!!!! I hope to go over as soon as School gets out for summer on May 29th but will only stay a few days. I figure it should be about 105+ by then! I've seen it reach 124 on the day my brother got married in late July. I flew in and got off the plane at 1am and it was 102. YUCK!!!

That is hard to imagine, what an upheaval! I will remember that when it is really hot here. I'm not a sun worshipper but if I had to cope with that I don't know what I'd do. We used to pack away winter clothes for summer and vice versa but don't bother now.
It will be great to hear from you whenever you can manage it. :)

Julie you are so sweet to think about our feelings when you have so much on you right now..just put all your focus on getting packed and moved back..have fun at the going away parties and have a safe trip to the summer home...things will be back to normal again before you know it..
