My Bags are Packed

Here's that song again. My bags are packed, I'm ready to go!! I'm leaving on a jet plane....(actually-blue taurus) I'm headed on my first vacation in over 20 years in just two days girls!! Thursday morning at 5AM we hit the road first for Oklahoma-than Texas for one night-than on to Branson MO for a week! Can't wait to get away from work for a well deserved break!! My oldest nephew is getting married in Oklahoma-than Sunday we will head to Lipan Texas (4 hours away) to spend the night with my sister-in-law and Brother-in-law. Than monday morning on to Branson(8 hours away), and we park there for a week. I have never been there, but I hear it is fun (Not Greece), but hey you got to start some where and work up to the big vacations:) I am taking my Lappie with me so I can keep in touch. Of course my camera comes with and 2 gigs of memory cards!!

I was gonna say Where the heck ya going??? Take me! Take ME!!! I go anywhere!!!!!!!!!! Thanks not I am singing that song too!!!! WOW Girl, you are gonna have lots of fun! and we get to see it all!!!! YIPPIEEEEE!!!!

Have a wonderful time on your vacation Paula! It may not be Greece but it is a vacation! Yours will probably be more relaxing then mine was. It was beautiful but extremely tiring. (not to mention that my boat sank, that is not likely to happen to you)

I hope not-- we are going on one of those dinner boats with the water wheel on the back. The Belle something!! And I will definitely take lots of pictures! Crops I do have an extra suitcase you could tag along in!! I would cut through Bethlehem and pick you up-but I think it's a little out of the way and would eat up too much of my scheduled time--but hey maybe next time!! Besides aren't we all going to plan some cruise to meet on sometime in the future?? Can't wait!

I think the Depends would have been in order when I read this post Marion. Not laughing at your boat sinking but it was how you said it.

Now I happen to like those boat with the wheels behind them too. And a dinner boat at that.............. wow! I hope you get some great sunset pics on the water!

Sounds like a fun trip Doll...so happy you are getting a vacation..I wonder if thats catching...Mint went to Branson, Crops went to FL..Marion went to Greece ..heck I would be happy to go to the Downtown Motor Lodge for a weekend...LOL...you have a great time and Im looking forward to seeing lots of pictures..Ive always wanted to go there..be careful and keep in touch..

You'll have fun in Branson ~ I did when I went there a few years ago. Saw J.Mathis & he was GREAT!! You'll need that extra suitcase for all that shopping you'll do...........

I love Branson! I was there 2 yrs ago. Met my kids there, after they returned from Germany tour. We had a wonderful time taking in a few shows, and enjoying the wonderful weather. Even drove to Precious Moments park, a few hours away.

I'd love to go again! Have a great time!!!!! :)

Well everyone-the wedding was nice in Oklahoma---now in Texas and tomorrow morning we hit the road for Branson, MO!! I really haven't had time to check out too much of whats going on here, but having lots of fun!! Talk to you soon!

I figured you must have been enjoying yourself not having heard from you for a few days, it can be a little concerning with you being on the road and all - stay safe and continue to enjoy yourself. And don't worry about these old fuddy-duddies here - they're just jealous.
