Strep!?!?!

Would you believe, today I came home with a sore thoat and went to the doc to discover that I have Strep. Nothing like the school nurse getting sick! Go figure! Well I have to stay home tomorrow and take my antibiotics.

I actually thought I was going to make it through the whole school year without getting sick from my kids. I almost did it! I have been seeing a lot of kids with strep and the flu.

Oh well, will take advantage of the situation and take tomorrow off.

You don't need chicken soup. Just grab some of that root beer and add ice cream. It will not only freeze the throat, it will taste good.

Oh Onie - you poor thing! The first time I got it as an adult, I waited THREE DAYS to go see the doctor, and by then I had to practically crawl to the car and I could barely sit upright. It's horrible! I've had it a few times since then and I can tell immediately by the way my body feels like LEAD with my sore throat and I don't waste any time getting to the doctor!

Strep is running riot here too! Thank God my kids haven't caught it YET! School nurse sent home a letter saying that alot of kids are out due to it..poor kids.

Oh! Onie, I am sad in knowing that not this well, but she is not made an impression with this ok, takes medicine it takes liquids in abundance as it said Jazz, why the climate this exactly it stops these types of things, not if it stresse ok, one great kiss, desire its improvement express ok

It's pretty bad when the school nurse gets sick! I felt bad cause they couldn't get a sub nurse for me today. I'm going to have to take another day because I'm still running a low grade fever. Knocked me on my butt here! Never got out of my jammies today. My son Josh did stop at the store on his way home from school and got me some NICE CHOCOLATE ice cream..... YUMMY It was SO GOOD on my throat. :)

Well, I'm still at home and feeling crappy. Fever finally broke. Drinking lots of water and ate the chocolate ice cream to sooth the throat! I was pretty busy yesterday working on layouts but today I just want to sleep. I'm not used to being sick......... Those little kids at school got me sick! Just got to love them! LOL
