After I made my computer slideshow, I made two more copies for my co-workers. One just emailed me & told me that the cd is blank & nothing is there. I'm wondering what happened.
I'm going to burn another one & see if it will play on my son's computer.
Someone doesn't need Scrapbook Max installed to run a computer slideshhow, correct?
thanks, Rhoda

Hi Rhoda,
I made the slideshow cd and it works fine on my computer and my son's (which doesn't have SM on it.) I also tried making a video cd which worked, but plays very choppy on the DVD. (The slideshow cd doesn't work on the DVD player) I believe it's because I did it with the cd-writer and not a DVD writer (my computer doesn't have one). I could be wrong. Anyone else? But yes, your slideshow cd should play on any computer even without SM.

Yes that's correct, it will play back on the user's PC whether or not they have Scrapbook MAX! installed. :)

I'm making another one for her & see if it works. Maybe I burned the wrong format. I know my cd works, lol!
BTW, I created a gallery & uploaded my first layout tonight. I found some more pictures that need to be scrapped so I hope to make a few more layouts tonight.
thanks, Rhoda

I made a VCD for my mother in the Netherlands. She got it yesterday along with the scrapbook I sent her and I am happy to report that it played on her DVD player and she was very happy with it!

Sometimes you can just hit a 'bad cd' when you are buying CDRs too

I burned another computer slideshow tonight & it works on my computer. I'm wondering if I burned the other slideshow by accident when I was at work. (I was trying to get copies made while surrounded by 3 & 4 year olds, lol! Anything is possible!!)
You should have seen my little angels when they watched themselves on the slideshow pics! The little guy sitting next to me grabbed my leg saying, "LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME!"
My school is out June 2 & I can't wait! I'm gonna be scrapping 'round the clock!
Send me a Scrapbook Max tshirt & I'll wear it to the Great American Scrapbook convention in Arlington, Tx next month, lol! I'll be your advertisement!!!
