ATTENTION: All techie gurus!

I have a problem again, what else is new! I can not open a site in my favorites. all other sites are working fine, I have done the following:
1.Searched the internet for site, it comes up but I can not get to it.
it keeps saying cannot find page.
2. Rebooted system
3. went to microsoft to fix the problem, did the problem solver thingy. still nothing
4.Did the network Diagnostic and found an error. POP3/SMTP ( I have seen this somewhere before, but I cant remember where it is)
I believe this is were I made a mistake, but not sure, A few days ago I tried tosend an email but it went through outlook, I got an error there and just did an email the way I always do. Then I figured since I dont need that stupid thing cause it didnt work, I deleted it! Which was probably not a good idea, but anyway.. It has someting to do with Outlook Express Mail.
5. I went to the SAFE MODE on my computer ( go figure who knew I had that) to test the connection, In there I found that POP3 it says an error, but it doesnt say how to fix it.... Soooo
6. I went to tools and in the internet options, programs and changed the mail from Outlook to AOL mail ( which is the one I use) still cant get on the site.
7. Deleted all cookies and internet files.
Where do I go next besides taking this computer and throwing it out the 3 floor window.
Any info I would really appreciate! Never in my wildest dreams did I ever expect to learn all this stuff!

Crikey, Crops! You've done everything you possibly can! I hope someone sees this really soon who can help! It's so frustrating. Hang in there - someone will know what to do!!

I just got an email from the site you can't visit - they changed their server and now some people can't "see" the site when they get there! I'll PM the instructions to you for fixing the problem!! Hope this works! It isn't you!!!

Well the following has happened (for other peeps who have this problem in the future)
I have restored my system to the last date I was able to get on the site.... Still nothing, I emailed the support at the site, they said to call my internet provider.
Called them only to find out it is a problem with the router and it can take upto 72 hours to fix.
After 24 hours of all this crap, I still have most of my hair. LOL I need something stronger than a rootbeer!!!!! LOL

I think I know what your problem is... You may need to update your version of Flash in order to view that website

Ahhh thanks Steve!!! Tried that and it said Adobe Flash Player successfully installed, tried to go to site, but still a no go! I will try anything at this point!

Hey, Crops!

This is such a crummy thing to happen! Here's the silver lining - there isn't a DD so far today. I think the site is having lots of problems with the changeover! I'm heading out for the rest of the day, but will keep hoping all goes well and you will have everything fixed soon!

Nuts - I lied. I just checked the site and there is a DD - somehow we'll get it to you! Okay - now I'm off and running!

GoodLuck Crops, I cant help either, I went to the site a few days ago and have no problem getting to it. :( .. I'm using Firefox for my browser and I guess I have the latest flash to.

Ohhh You guys are the best!!! WONDER... stop talking about the chocolate lattes and start buying everyone in here some! Darn now I need a latte!!!! LOL ANy howwwwwww... Last night I finally got back to the site!!! Something was wrong with the way my IP was routing, they change something on there site and it no longer goes through Internet Explorer. Soo there is some weird V /check thingy by the site name and It is working! SO now I can relax, stop learning all this computer stuff and get back to what I love best.... SCRAPPING and of course gabbering with all you fine folks!:) :)

Pop3 is your computer settings for your mail.You should of wrote this stuff down in a book to have. I wrote mine down 10 years ago and always have to use it when i am doing a new install with these computers.
