I forgot about the cd! I bought Scrapbook Max last week & I'm having fun playing with the downloaded program. My ds installed MY dvd burner on his computer last night!!!!!!! I've had it for a year & I guess he didn't think I'd ever take it to the computer store to be installed! I had asked him if we could install it on his computer because it's newer & bigger but we never got around to doing the installation.
I'm so proud that he tackled the project. He's never done anything like that before.
I'm thinking that I have at least 50gb of kits that I can use with this cool program already,lol!!
The dvd burner that he installed is a HP Lightscribe & you can etch a picture on the dvd if you buy the lightscribe dvds. I thought that would be a nice touch too.

I'm so sad, mine didn't come today, now I guess I have to wait and check on Monday. But I'm glad some of you are starting to receive them! Being in North Dakota I figured it wouldn't take too long if they said it was shipped in Canada but then again Canada is huge!

Glad I'm not the only one I, I bought S.Max 2 months ago tomorrow and have not received my Cd yet! I thought I may have been overlooked and was worried I might not be able to get one now... I can't wait to get it!!!! Just have to be patient I guess - I bet it will be worth waiting for hey!

Hi Moonbeam. There was no CD 2 months ago. That's something completely brand new which only came out last week. The CDs were shipped last week from Canada, so people will be receiving them about now. Keep your eyes peeled. :)

Granny, as long as you have the latest version of Scrapbook MAX! then just install the content from the CD and you're done. If you run the CD it should be apparent how to install the content. On the other hand reinstalling won't hurt anything either, so your choice. :)

Ah Ha! that explains why I "missed it" I recommended to a friend who bought SBMax and she asked me about the CD coming?? I told her I didn't think there was one but when I checked the site write up - there it was and I wondered how on earth I could have missed that....
I just upgraded my SBM program and I cannot believe the improvements in it. I thought the old on was fantastic but the new one is totally awesome. So do I still get a Cd even though I bought SBM 2 months ago? If the CD comes I will be hybernating for a week to play with it!:D Thank you so much for a great product guys.It's the best

Mine was in the letterbox when I arrived home today, talk about being thrilled to Bits! This program got a 10/10 before, now I have to admit it's more like a 20/10:D

Hi Everybody

I received my cd today and I want to say thank you! You didn't have to send us free cd copies, but I'm really glad you did. Now I can be sure that I won't lose it! I love Scrapbook Max and I've passed the word along to everyone I know. In fact by now they're probably tired of hearing me talk about it.

Well, I've been putting SM to the test without the cd today,lol! But I am happy to report that mine was in the mailbox this afternoon. I still haven't opened it but I hope I get to look at it before midnight!
BTW, I made 29 pages with SM this afternoon! Did I set a new record?:D
I'm making a slideshow & using premade album pages so it's coming together way cuter than a plain ol' slideshow would!

i got mine today, but i suspect it's been sitting in the mailbox for a few days. I'm gonna go check out the content now, but from what I hear from you guys, i'm sure it's great ! (although I won't have time to really scrapbook for a while... too many books to read, and a class this afternoon... ) :(

Gob Smacked ?? Yep ! Me too! It came today just as I am packing to leave for a weeks holiday ( where there is no computer:( ) But I have had time to have a look through everything on it and WOw! I am so pleased with it.. a million thanks to the scrapbook max team... I think it is so fantastic that we were sent a complimentary CD... You never seem to get a complimentary anything these days... so it is very much appreciated and treasured. I tell you guys that word of mouth is the best advertising there is and I know I talk about SBM to everyone and tell them how fantastic it is.. and I'm sure the others here do to so you can expect a lot of "referals" coming to join in the fun!

I lived in the Phoenix valley too - Mesa and Apache Junction - and I know how slow the mail it there. However, I'm still waiting for mine too and I'm across the country! Maybe tomorrow!!

Thanks everyone for all of the kind words and support. It makes it all worthwhile to know that you like the new software and content!

And of course, we really do appreciate you telling your friends/family/coworkers etc about Scrapbook MAX!. We're just getting started! There's lots of great things coming over the next few months.

Just a chuckle here... I am in australia and many words that you DO NOT hyphenate in the USA we always put that little dash in the middle...for example you said coworkers... we always write Co-workers ..so the first time I read it as you wrote it I couldn't work out what it was??? because in my mind I read it as cow-orkers...hehehe

Mine took forever to get here it took so long I forgot I ordered it.. Anyways should I put it on my computer? do i need to download it? or what? I thought I got everything when I bought it online? also I think I missed the templet I was suppose to add when I got the email.. so is there anyway I can get it emailed again? PLEASE!!!

Hi. The content CDs started shipping only two weeks ago, prior to that it didn't exist. So it actually took a couple weeks to get out to you which is pretty standard for shipped goods of any type. Anyhow the main thing is that you have it now, so that's good. :)

Your CD-ROM contains everything you need, the program as well as all the content. The trial download only contains a small portion of the content found on the CD so you'll definitely want to install the content from your CD. Cheers. :)
