Has anyone out there updated to a newer version of Internet Explorer, in the past several days? I did and I am finding all the windows are stacking up. I am not happy with it because it's not working well. Is anyone else finding these new changes to be difficult to work with?

I did and Love it.
Now you can easily use one window with tabs instead of several different windows.
Mine seems to be working pretty fast, I don't think it is the Explorer that's slow, it might be the computer or programs that are slowing everything down.

Ugh, I stopped using IE years ago...it has too many problems. I use both the Firefox and Opera browsers (yes, both...because of my web dev). Never have any problems with either...couldn't tell you which I like better, they're both excellent. :)

Firefox seems to be a really good browser.
I've updated IE and have no problems whatsover with multiple tabs in the one window ~~ none as yet that i!!!!!!!!!!!
Soooooo I'll leave well alone at the moment but will keep Firefox in reserve.
Thanks for info.

Wow, I'm glad you posted this, because I just finished upgrading to IE 7 and I hate it. I guess I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get used to it, like the Dr. suggested. I even looked for version 6 on the net, but there where too many negative comments about "it".
Confounded!

I hated that updated version. I finally had help from Sue and Carol here to delete the program then was able to return to the version that I had. I am very happy to say that IE v7 is GONE!

Mee too Onie..I am back to my old IE and not having all those problems..my computer did not like the new one..everything messed up..even my printer..I was going to try it for awhile because I liked parts of it but caused to many problems I didnt want to deal with all the time...FoxFire is a good browser..I used it for awhile but one program I use all the time had a conflict with it..

I've loved Firefox for quite awhile but now I can't open all my Yahoo emails. I can't figure it out - can't get in touch with Firefox - so I've had to go back to IE just to open some of my mail. I think the problem is between Yahoo and Mozilla. Does anyone know anything about this or have a suggestion?! Thanks!

I don't use yahoo but I love firefox. I'll ask my son who uses all sorts of things with Firefox. If he has a solution I'll let you know.

I think the new IE is the reason I'm having problems downloading and opening some files. I got rid of the new version of IE but things have not been the same with some of my other files etc. I'm still trying to get things back in order. I may never get some of it worked out!!! :(

I have been using the new IE without any problems so far. It just takes a little getting used to. Like all other changes in life:)

My ISP's child safe protections didn't work with anything by IE. Ugh. I did like Firefox otherwise. Sure did! Switches back for the fam. (I don't care for the stacking windows either so much--every search and I have 5 windows open. Who needs that?)

But it works great when you have to post a link from the gallery and you can switch back and forth to the forum just by pushing a tab button!
Marion:)
