I hope folks are getting the power back on. Here are some very good pictures of an ice storm.

Awesome pictures! We are having a unusually mild winter so far. As far as I am concerned it can stay that way!

I've never seen anything like that. It's beautiful, but so destructive! Thanks for sharing them!

Unbelievable. It's sad but the photos are so good, I wish my photos came out like that! The grass fascinates me.

Wow that brought back memories of 2 years ago. The Poconos got hit with an ice storm and was without power for 2 weeks, no computers running nothing. We went up there for a few days to see how things were and it unbelievably beautiful but shocking at the same time! Trees like you wouldn't believe broken in half by ice, I thought for sure they were dead. But in the summer when we went back, there was alot dead but so much more survived then i ever thought would. And I could kick myself in the *** for not taking my camera!!!

Great pictures. How can anything that looks so beautiful be so destructive??

Those are awesome pictures. We had a huge icestorm in Spokane in the 1990s. It was like the pictures - tree branches snapped off, lines down, cars abandoned everywhere. It took 2 weeks for some people to get their power back and the streets cleared of trees and branches.
