I'm Very Excited To Install The New Verson But I Have A Question Before I Do So. When I Start The Install Process It States That An Another Verson Of Scrapbook Max Excists And It Asks If I Want To Uninstall The Old Verson. If I Agree To The Uninstallation Will It Delete Me Saved Projects??? Please Advise, I'm Sooo Anxious To Begin The Download

Uninstalling won't remove your old projects. You can uninstall and reinstall without losing any of your work. :)

I'm really happy with the new version, so much has been added and the new features seem amazing. But is it just me or did we lose many of the embellishments we used to have in the old version ? For example, the fancy folder ? many of the items in the photo folder, as well as the alphabet we used to have (the one that lookek made out of stamped wax) ?? Now that I have deleted my old version of scrapbookmax, how can I get those embellishments back ?

We have replaced all of the old low resolution content with new high resolution content so that you now get superior results when publishing your scrapbooks to any format, but especially for printing.
The tradeoff is that the new gallery content, templates etc requires much more disk space. Too much to download actually. So, we have to ship you the new content on CD-ROM. Refer to the email you received with your upgrade instructions. Make sure you download the "mini" downloadable content pack in addition to the Scrapbook MAX! main installer. That'll help tide you over until your CD-ROM arrives in the mail.
Scrapbook MAX! now comes with way more content than before! In fact there are now literally thousands of embellishments, backgrounds, paper scraps and photo shapes compared to a couple hundred from before! And dozens of brand new scrapbook layouts. We're putting up some samples on the site today so you can get a better idea of just what is included!
So everyone who has already bought, as well as everyone that buys from this day on will have a CD shipped to them. This CD contains much more content than the original version PLUS it is all high res print ready.
Scrapbook MAX rocks!

Which wrinkled paper background? I can whip another one up for you at print resolution if you can describe it to me. :)

OK here I've attempted to duplicate that at print resolution. I tried to get it as close as I could, let me know if it works OK for you, if not I'll give it another shot. :)

Just wait until you see what is on the CD-ROM! Way more stuff and all at print quality resolution. And it's all even nicer than it was before (hard to imagine I know!).
Hi!
I didn't get an email regrading the upgrade, I purchased the full version serveral weeks ago. So, what do I do now?

Hello,
An email was definitely sent to you. It would have come from 'janice @ scrapbookmax.com'. Please be sure to add '@scrapbookmax.com' to your email whitelist so you receive all future emails!
I've re-sent download instructions to you, which will allow you to get the latest version of the software.
A CD will be mailed to you, along with everyone who purchased before the content CD was available, just as soon as we get them back from the duplicators.
Desmond.
Desmond thank you, I got your emailand have downloaded. Don't know what happened to the first email! Off in email never-never land I guess! Anyway, all is well that ends well! Thanks again!:D

i received the download link for the new version but regarding the comment below from Scrapbook Max, I didnt recieve anything like that, the download was 47.5 mgs in size but no mini downloadable pack etc.

No problem. Desmond is on holidays so he won't be here for a couple weeks but I can guarantee you his answer would be, "Just happy to hear you have it all now. If you have any questions just let me know." That's *exactly* the sort of thing you could expect if Desmond were here. :)
Not sure where he's holidaying but I doubt it's a coincidence that the regional hula championships are held this week. :D
LOL ,I think I speak for us all when I say we hope to see some of those holiday pics on his return :D
Corey, I cannot thank you enough for all your advice & commitment to help us in our hour of need,it truly is appreciated & I can honestly say this is the best digital site on the net,& I am thrilled to be part of it :o
10/10 for ScrapMax!

10 out of 10? Wow! Thanks Kazr, that's a mighty nice vote of confidence. I'm not sure about the pictures though, I have a theory that he'll deny any knowledge of it. He'll be all like, "hula what?" Just watch. :D
Haha ,I have this image of Desmond's Avatar with a hula skirt underneath, LMAO.
Hope wherever Desmond is he is safe & have a fantabulous time:D

The fantabulous part is 100% guaranteed but the kid's a thrillseeker so it's 50-50 on the safety thing. :)
At my age thrills are a thing of the past :o
Look forward to hearing of Desmond's safe return, hope he comes back with all parts intact :D

Here are a few pictures from my trip, as promised. It was a great time! We set sail on April 21st from Fort Lauderdale, FL, and returned April 28th. I'm already thinking of my next cruise. :) (and it's oh so far away!!!!)
Desmond.
Wow! What great pictures, looks like you had a great time! Its cool to put a face to your post. I read everyones posts everyday and wonder what everyone looks like.(kinda like putting a face to a radio DJ)
It must be nice to be able to take a vacation! Glad you had a great time and thanks for sharing your pictures!

It was a great time. I went with my dad, it was quite relaxing and enjoyable. Maybe eventually i'll find time to make a scrapbook of my little adventure!

Wow, what a wonderful vacation. Glad you enjoyed it. I see you're standing on from on both my sea vehicles. The big cruiser I only take out with friends. The little one is for errands only. Thought you'd want to know.
Here is my picture, so that Kode can throw darts at it!

The cruise ship was huge! I think it was over 900' long, and weighed in at 105,000 tons. I still managed to, shall i say, enlarge my tummy. :)
It's almost unimaginable, but that big ship moved through the water at an average speed of 40 km/h (20.20 nautical miles per hour). It was amazing!

I hope you put it back in it's little dock, after I left you use it. Hate to leave it out in the open in case of rain. Still, glad you enjoyed it! It is a big baby!!
