I do believe this happened before, remember when the monkeys and a few of our residents when floating around town inside the bubbles! I'm going to keep an eye open cause we don't want anyone to get hurt, if the bubbles pop.

Melanie, I do have a nice room available at the B&B. It's a room that has a beautiful fireplace. Oh, and we have a great cook on duty. I know you will love the breakfasts.

The Monkey room is already taken. My buddy Eye usually gets that room when she is in town. She already has the room reserved. I think she goes there because it's a room that has a great view of the Monkey's in the garden.

(Speaking of Duct tape!! ROTFL... true story... my hubby and I have a water bed... it sprung a HUGE leak a while back... DH and I GLUED a HUGE piece of plastic over it as sortof a temp patch while we had a new one shipped in.... worked so well we forgot to get the new one... but then the patch sprung a leak so I duct taped the edges of the patch! HAHAHAHA... worked like a charm... still sleeping on it!!)

We need some help! John just got home from WalMart and he has gotten strings and strings of white lights (Christmas Lights) to wrap around the trees along the town. He also mentioned wrapping them around the light post. Now I am worried about him up on that ladder! I keep telling him that it's too soon after his heart attack. So, I told him that I would get some volunteers to help. His only request is that Granny does NOT hold the ladder!

More food is on the way Angel!!!! I have several calls out looking for some other venders. I did hear from the HOUSE OF PIES and they offered to have a variety of pies.

Did everyone see the lights in town last night? John did a great job getting those lights hung up. Granny turned out to be a great help too! She had her pet Apes climb up into a couple of the Higher areas!!!! You should have seen them going up the side of the town hall and up that hugh tree in the center of town. They actually followed Granny's instructions..... it was so funny. I was actually impressed, BUT then a couple of the naughty apes tried to grab the string of lights from the good ape..... That good ape knocked the crap out of the naughty ape. Oh that bad boy ran. Granny praised the good ape and gave him a banana as a reward. I just had to took a picture with my camera phone !!!

Ok now down to business..... There are LOTS of new residents that need homes!! For our sherrif I have a few choice lots, though we really need to consider your price range. here are a few house boats that we can have shipped into the lake for you.... shipping costs and all get high so you might need to consider the smallest one. Or there are 2 beautiful shore side mansions. You can see the water from 3 sides of the house and I am sure we can have a water fall built in the back for your 4th water view!!! I have to wonder though... How much are we really paying you to be the sheriff?!??! Maybe I want a re-count on those votes!! Taxes are high as it is! LOL so maybe the not so mansion choice there is the best as well

Mandi, I happen to have a job opening at the B&B! It's a desk clerk position, reservationist. We've been so busy with people coming and going at the B&B and I need someone who is organized!

Would you believe the last person that I had got the reservations mixed up and put 2 people in the same room. Boy was Angle shocked when that salesman walked into her room! Then I was told that Granny was at the B&B and she might have had something to do with the 2 reservations for the same room. Needless to say, the other clerk/receptionist quit, when Granny brought her Apes into the B&B and let them run lose!

Girls chili aint no good without lots of beans!!!!! By the way I use BEANO faithfully! I think what you are smelling is my gunea pigs. You know I had to try this out on someone before I made it for the chili cookoff!! So I went out to Terry's place and used his trained apes to try my chili :) Aren't they the cutest bunch of apes you ever saw. They were so happy to eat my chili, and they came back for seconds and thirds!! It's going to be a real winner at the chili cook-off!!

Our Founders Day Celebration is on Friday! Is everyone ready? If you need to sign up for any of the events, please contact my new Reservationist MANDI. She will sign u up. I know we're have a parade, Chili cookoff, lots of great foods, the amusement rides are almost set up! I think that roller coaster looks awesome. The "Monkey's" in concert. Fun for everyone!!!! The new clinic is set up and all ready to go! I hear that there is going to be wine tasting too * of course it already started* then the new Sheriff has been out with the Mayor, checking out everything and making sure all the permits are taken care of! Oh and Lila's new place is wonderful! The fountain in town is finally cleaned again, lol. I have no idea who keeps putting the Calgon in there but those bubbles are sure pretty! Oh, and the lights are so so gorgous! We have lights all over town. I think John and Granny did a good job!

My only concern..... what do we do with Granny's mattress???? Anyone want to offer to hide the thing. I just don't want people to get scared off by the smell. We have a growing town here with lots of business and homes being purchased. That mattress sure can be a problem if it isn't hid!

I heard that we have someone inquiring about a Massage Therapist. I really hope we get one, I sure could use a good massage about now.

The medical clinic's grand opening is today and I hope everyone has the chance to stop in for a few minutes. You can have some popcorn, get balloons animals from the clowns and jump in the bouncy houses out back. I'm making sure that Granny's apes don't go inside the bouncy houses. I have taught two of them to stand guard and are doing well at this time. Still waiting to hear when the blood drive will be . . . plans are not final as yet.

Getting very excited about Friday's event! Can't wait! :)

WHEW... What a week! Trying to find homes for ALL these WONDERFUL new residents AND helping get ready for this weekends festivities! I am Just about BEAT!!!!

The medical clinic open house was a success. I think everyone enjoyed themselves. At the end of the evening I let the apes join in the jumping and they went wild! They're taking down the tent and the bouncy houses after the festivities tomorrow. Don't forget the tent will be open for any emergencies that may arise during our Founder's Day celebration.

The blood drive will be next week on Wednesday so please stop in and donate to Save A Life! :)

well, I have finally been able to drag myself out of the kitchen........I have made some lasagne (a beef one and a vegetarian), ravioli, garlic bread and pizza's, Tropical Kebabs, pawpaw and mango beef wraps, and honey chicken wings for the b&b and some tiramisu,pineapple upside down cake, and hot creamy fruit salad for after's. I am dropping off a delivery of lamingtons and pumpkin scones at Lila's tea house......I have also put together a 'tasty treat bag' for everyone that attends the founders day celebrations with sample's of savoury and sweet treats........hope you will all enjoy!!!! And last but not least some finger foods for the festivities also....so between the b&b, Lila's tea house, and the party we should all be able to find something we like to eat (NO DIETS ON FOUNDERS DAY)!!!!!
