Cropie..glad you have power again..your bowling sounds like mine..we could start a league and call ourselves Gutter Girls...90% of my balls end up in the gutter....every once in awhile I get a few pins down and once in a blue moon I get a strike..havent bowled in years..we used to get a bunch together and bowl from 12-3 on Friday and Sat nights..as many as wanted to could bowl for $5 per lane..cheap and fun...the cafe there had the best hamburgers and fries..we spent our money on eating..lol

Hey, who's team am I on???? I use to bowl ok, but can't guarantee that now. Actually I would start with an average of about 145 or more. But by the end of the season it went down instead of up. I guess I got tired of bowling! My highest score on league was 203. But I did bowl one game higher than that off league. I don't remember the exact score though, maybe something like 215. But I had more than enough low games!

Anyone want me on their team???

Oh me me me!! MEEE!!!!! I am a total GUTTER GIRL!!!! I have a proud low score of 14!!!!!!! Ok.. so that was a really bad night. My high score is 114!!!! LOL... So the gutter girls is definitely the team for me!! Do you mind if I join ya!?!?!

Oh Thanks Onie, I should have read back a page I missed that post. I mainly drink water these days but I would probably enjoy at least one Mojito! (stomach issue's) I had an Endoscopy on Monday. I found out that I have a Hiatal Hernia and Gastritis. They also did a biopsy, but I haven't found out anything about that yet. They also told be to get a gall bladder work up. So I am trying not to eat or drink to much stuff that would bother my stomach......hmmm Does that pizza count that I had last night and left overs today????

Well, I got to tell you what happened to Ladybug and me. We were talking through Messenger with our webcams and mikes, and I made that funny noise. Is not a burpe, nor a hicup, is just really weird and comes from no where. So I excused myself and told Ladybug that it wasn't a burpe, just that stupic hernia thing. Well, she said ok, and we went on with our conversation.

About a month later, we were talking on the puter again, and she let off the worse burp you ever heard, and she very seriously proceds to tell me... "Ops, sorry, ST, that was not a burpe, is an ingrown nail I got from way back!" :eek:

Oh, my word, I though I was going to die laughing. Then I tried to call my mom on the phone to tell her the story, but Ladybug and I were laughing so hard and peeing our pants, I couln't tell my mom what was wrong...

Well, ok, you had to be there!

Anyhow, glad you got the place through legal channels and every thing with the bowling alley is on the up and ups! Now, about my bowling average and handicap. I've mentally handicap ever since I could remember, and I get confused about the score part. Is it golf you want the smallest number and the highest in bowling, or is it the other way around? Darn if I remember. I figure, with either game, if I'm going to spend all that time, money and energy on the stupid game, I'm going to hit those stupids things as many times as I can. No birdie for me! So clear the lanes, I'm going to use the biggest iron driver I got to hit them baskets, and no gutters for me, I got them all replaced when the rains started!

hey I wouldn't mind being a spare on the gutter girls team.......I only ever bowled over 100 once, and it was 115 which was enough to get me a pin ( I was so wrapped, but I never did it again) I'm over the moon if I get 100 (which doesn't happen very often)

Geez, it was suppose to be a surprise...lol...Nanwu and I stayed all night carving the pumpkins, we took photos from here and laid them on the pumpkins and we traced the outline...Rosie helped us decorate...No one else was suppose to know...Hmmm...Need new locks...lol...Since the surprise is out already...SURPRISE!!!!!!
Nanwu, you can be on my team, with Lindie and Wiz...We need at least one more person so if we can alternate weeks, and also have a sub just incase... Oooooh! Things are shaping up fast around here. Us Gutter girls got to get another team member yet. And yes girls I too take prilosec-but only as I need it. Right now I can still get away with drinking some baking soda in water, that takes away my pain within minutes. But a male nurse told me that if I have to drink baking soda than the damage has already been done, I need to prevent it rather than fix it after I get it. So sometime in the near future I will be on a regular regimen of prilosec. Enough of that--I am getting so excited about bowling again. Did Marion sign up yet?? Marion you can be on our team!! How about makeyesup? Wolvsie-I saw what was under the bar, but don't worry your secret is good with me.(wink-wink-wink):)

I must be the only one in town who didnt go to the bowling alley and see the decorations..Im waiting for the big party..I had a good idea ( I think ) why dont we have a masquerade
party...and give a prize to the person no one can figure out..when I was about 5 we went to a masquerade party at church..my dad went in by himself and my mom and I went in later..he walked around alone all night and didnt say anything and he won the prize..no one could figure out who he was LOL..I wont ever forget the huge rubber feet he wore..dont remember the rest of the costume but I remember the feet..we had a great time...

WOW! What a spectacular party we had. I don't remember half of it so it must have been really good. I have a headache-had to stay home from work today.:( What a mess that bowling ally ended up in. Been scrubbing and waxing the lanes down for Wednesday's bowling teams to bowl. We gotta get better control over our parties tho-can't be scrubbing and waxing lanes all the time. That's hard and time consuming. Well better get to the bar area and scrub that down too.

Everyone in Scrapsville went out of town for the Thanksgiving bowling Tournment..... Granny is still showing off that trophy that she won for that Strike ball. I believe it was called the "FUNNIEST STRIKE" She rolled her ball from lane 3 and it bounced over into lane 6 then got a strike on that lane. hehehe, it was so funny! I thought Crops was going to pee her pants laughing. Sue said she saw Granny's ape help with that Strike. Also, everyone who striked a "Turkey" (3 strikes in a row) got to take home a REAL Turkey. I have a problem with allowing anyone in Scrapsville to kill those turkeys. It's okay when their frozen at the store but not when their still walking around. So, who is going to do the honors???? I know it wont be me.

Something in my computer burned up yesterday..was sending an email and smelled wires burning..before I could shut it off and unplug it..it made a funny noise and went black.man it smelled like everything in it burned up...my cousin is coming over to check it out for me...thank goodness my GS brought his over here for me to use...its not very fast but I have my external drive hooked up and I can still scrapbook..I nearly went nuts last night just knowing I couldnt get on line LOL...
I sure hope its just my power supply...thats easy to replace..

It's been snowing all day here. My bestest friend was in an accident and flipped there SUV. Some guy went through a stop sign without even so much as slowing down and if she would have hit him he would be dead, so she swerved to avoid injury and because of the snow her vehicle slid and smashed into a snowbank and flipped over. I thank GOD that she didn't break any bones or have any internal injuries. But she will be extremely sore tomorrow. She has had back surgery in the past and this sure doesn't help. To top it off the guy that went through the stop sign didn't even stop to make sure they were alright, he just kept going. I just can't believe someone can cause an accident like that and keep going without even caring how they were. Especially cause she swerved to prevent injury to him!! Well you know what they say what goes around comes around, and some day he will get his. I am just relieved that she and her husband and their dog weren't seriously injured.

I have been stopping in her a lot and there has been nobody here. I was beginning to get worried wondering where everyone went. But than I figured they were all off visiting their families for the holidays. So glad to see that there are others here. You know the bowling alley lights are on-should see if anything is going on there. Maybe they are planning a surprise party for all of us. hmmmmm!

Mark and I are deciding on moving to a warmer climate...we have had 3 deaths here in as many days from vehicle accidents. First a girl coming home from college in VA was killed in an accident..we didn't know her but do her family..THEN..a friend of ours called to say his son was killed in a hit and run...and the guy that hit him left the scene..the police found him and had the balls to show up at the service to tell his family that the guy that killed him "really isn't a bad guy"!!!! To top it all off, a friend of my oldest daughter also coming home for the holidays from College hit a tractor trailer head on yesterday..the roads are sooooo bad. We are supposed to get up to 3 feet of snow by tomorrow morning...we have over a foot now as it is...Mark plowed 3 times today and we have 15 foot high snowbanks! maybe I'll take pics in the morning hehe:D Snow anyone??????

Oh Wiz..... that is terrible news about the recent deaths due to bad weather. As for the snow............ you can keep it! I love our winters here in El Paso. We MIGHT get 2 or 3 little snow falls but all melted away by the next day (or sooner). People here complain when the temp gets down in the 50's Most of our cool winters days are in the mid 60;s. Nights can drop down in the 35-45 degrees.

I don't blame ya! I know it's a hard decision!

I spent my time away building an igloo for those darn apes...lol...They aren't getting out until it melts away...and then my brother came here and helped me decorate the bowling alley...Everyone must check it out!!!!!! All the pins are red, white and green...There is a HUGE decorated Tree in the bar area...We made green and red popcorn balls from Crops popcorn...Homemade candy and frosted pretzels...and we even made some fresh banana bread..Which by the way, I gave some to the apes...<wink> If anyone wants to check up on them, they are in my backyard and you can peek through the little window on the side...Last I checked, they were playing poker...I have no clue who taught them that, but they are having a blast and staying out of trouble...My brother was up on the ladder and put red bows on the town tree too....
There is also a wrapped gift for everyone at the bowling alley under the HUGE tree...So go find the one with your name on...

Our little town has been quiet lately but I heard that many residence were snowed in or snowed out. The streets came to a dead stop and no one was coming or going. Hello peeps!!! Wow I havent been here in ages...geezzeee I guess thats what happens when people work, I never knew how hard it was going to be... working, cleaning, cooking and still find time for the computer... I am blaming it all in the holidays... I sure hope things slow done soon... I miss everyone here sooooo much!!!
Well I just popped in to let ya all know I am still alive and kicking, need to have a look around and see what I have missed around here. hey just got back to the condo and found this big fat jolly guy dressed in red stuck in one of my tunnels. He says Granny put him there and she is one the naughty list for next year now (no new mattress for her). Anyway I have tried and tried but can't pull him free (please stop by and help me).........I have eggnog and pudding with brandy custard for any one who helps............ hurry, he's loosing weight and not very merry at the moment

Im cooking a traditional New Years dinner..pork roast, collard greens, black eyed peas, creamed potatoes and corn bread..I get hungry just thinking about it..LOL...was trying to fry some chicken Thursday night and I accidently let one fall in the hot oil...it covered my thumb, the pad below my thumb, my wrist and several fingers...I have blusters and its been very painfull..the dr called me in some silver cream and I think its helping..just takes so long to heal because of the diabetics...
its hard to type with one hand LOL..
the kids crashed my computer while I was in the hospital..I lost all my favorites and my email addys...please send me an email so I can get yours in my email...heres my address

Jazz you silly girl. You were there and so was everyone else for the celebration.I was the only sober one in the bunch.You were in the corner with smiles passed out with your hat on your knee instead of your head.Some were in the bathroom.I had a hard night looking after you all.But the best part was I ate all night. Yummy food and so much.This was my oportunity to get even with smile and covered her in sardines.Used a pernament black marker and made her face like a fish he he.I left allmy Chills Friends as they are perfect the way they are.Granny was even their crying most of the night over her vegimite being stuck at the border and now her sweet revenge is on hold.Poor Onie had her therm. in her ear and carrying her medical bag.Of coarse she was of no help.Marion had her beds hoping to get money but seems she is out cold on one.This place had a huge turn out but wow I am the only one that walked away whistling as I go Happy New Year.

Just so everyone is aware, I went to the bowling alley and wiped away all the dust bunnies on the alleys, and the cob webs off the bar glasses...Sorry to see this place like a ghost town again...What the heck happened anyways? I know I have been sick, but geez...So quiet...I heard nanwu in the tunnels on and off, a faint cry from Granny coming from somewhere...Doll, I think she is still at the hardware store...and did we ever get Santa unstuck? lol... Tuesday night will be the American Idol Bash! I understand we're going to party at the bowling alley. The B&B (which I own) will be catering dinner. I'm not sure who the current cook is but I thought Manatee was on staff. Our town favorites include rootbeer, vino, popcorn, chocolate. Steve is the DJ and we've encouraged him to audition for the IDOLS. I heard he's done real well so far. As for GRANNY... she loves to dance, carries a dang old stinky mattress everywhere and has APES and monkeys all the time that stay into mischief.

I really think we need to send out an inspector to check out all the business that are still in town and who is currently doing what! Our Mayor is helpful about keeping everyone within the laws with permits etc. I thought Sue's store was open again, but I'm not sure. Knzus has a dead flower shop.

OK, I think everyone on here needs to check in on the status of their business and homes! We have some new residences and some have purchased a few of the old businesses in town.

Gotcha Granny! Do you hear that Newbies. You need to open a new establishment and apply for the necessary licensing. Than Granny makes you a cute certificate like her's in her signature. So start thinking about what kind of establishment you want. We have a bed & breakfast, a bowling ally, a hardware store, dead plant shop, the Mayors Office, ummmm we were supposed to get a day care started for them apes and their little monkeys, but I don't think that ever got off the ground. Am I missing some here??? We need a full time sheriff-I was doubling as the Mayor and sheriff till we can find a trustworthy individual to fill the shoes of a good sheriff. Well let me know what you would like to do in this town so we can get you your official scrapsville certificate.:)

The Idol bash had to be cancelled because Onies DH John had a heart attack and is in ICU..from the messages we have gotten they put a stint in but now he has a staph infection that is keeping him in the unit...everyone remember to pray for them..I watched parts of Idol..I had started watching Commache Moon and it was a 3 parter so I was just flipping back and forth..but as this was just showing tryouts for Idol..dont think I really missed much..Im sure we will have a big bash to celebrate the real beginning of Idol and Johns homecoming..and all newbies are invited and the dress is just what every you want to wear and bring anything you would like like to...we are big eaters here in Scrapsville..

Nope I didnt see the show after Idol...heck I didnt even see Idol last night...went to bed early...today was a big day for me at work... was on my own.... LOL I think I did pretty good, all the patients left in one piece and there was hardly anyone waiting for long periods of time...today I had to go into the rooms with the patients...something about male doctors and female patients... got to make sure nothing improper happens....LOL.... but I sure am learning more and more of the human body than I ever cared to thats for sure....LOL Its kinda sad too, nothing prepares ya for when we get test results back and the person has cancer....oh its soo heart breaking when they come in and they dont have a clue till they get here... I am trying my hardest not to get close to any of these peeps..... but its really hard!!!!
But I must say I am soooo loving it at the same time....so many different people with sooo many different problems...it makes my life look like a piece of cake.
What I miss most....my scrappin'.... it really took a turn downward.... and I miss everyone here soooo much!!!! Even Granny.....LOL

COOL!!! Peeps are starting to show back up in town. I miss you guys!!! Jazz my hubby has to sleep with that air mask on too. He has sleep apnea too. But he sure complains because it drys his nose out so bad. Half the time he doesn't wear it cause it can be irritating--but it does help and he is getting better with it. Good luck, and let me tell you-you will notice a difference because you will have a better nights sleep than you have had in a very long time.:)
Crops-so good to see you too!! I am glad you like your job. I used to work for a pediatric gastroenterologist and it was very interesting to say the least. I felt bad for the children with feeding tubes and things. But it is a very rewarding job too. Good luck and have fun with your new job. Hopefully you will get into a comfortable routine and be able to get back in here and do some scrappin. Sure like you have been doing when you get the chance!!

Scrapsville has been pretty quiet because the residences have been taking turns visiting with our dear Jazz.

Of course, Granny's monkey was ready to sneak her out of the hospital but Eye stood guard! I think that Monkey got jealous of all the attention Jazz was getting! Knzus brought over a dead flower arrangment. Sue got some duck tape from the hardware store to tape down the bowl of fruit that Mantee sent over.

The funniest thing was our dear Mayor declared next weekend as "JAZZ R SIZE" Yes, PK said that we had to honor Jazz by declaring a day dedicated to getting healthy. I heard that someone was going to start an Arobic program, but I'm not sure WHO that is going to be!

I got a case of Rootbeer and the beer on tap! I am storing it down in the storage cellar. Now, I did invite Eye to stay down there, so she might be there. She promised to guard the stash! I think she was worried that Granny would sneak in with those Apes and try to steal everything!

I did get a call from Sue and she said she saw our mayor PKDoll out by the fountain. The fountain had sprung a leak and water was going everywhere. Sue took out some duck tape to tape up the leaky pipes. :eek:

Hey Fox, I was thinking that Jamie and you could distribute flyers on car windows at the local WalMart Store! I heard that Granny hangs out there, so maybe she will help!

I am having the dance floor waxed for more slide. I remember that we had a DJ that used to come to the Idol Parties...... Wished I could remember who that was..... Does anyone remember who that was? Haven't heard from Steve yet, I was hoping that he would be our offical POLE dancer.

I am soo ready to party!!! I got me self a new computer even had to get this vista and I cant believe it but everything is up and working like a charm....even my PSE6... its sooooo fast, I got 3 gigs of ram and get this 500 gigs of memory... I will be a downloading fool.....wahahahaha.... I am soooo happy with this....so lets PARTYYYYYYY..... Its about time this place starts up again... we need POPCORN!!!!! *runs to machine with 10lbs of kernels* got lots to pop.....:)
