I know they love peunut butter balls laced with warfarin.But then they crawl and die in your walls and then look for the flies and make a hole to get it out. Then you need sprays and then a can of raid to get rid of flies.So when you go to store get peanut butter,box warfarin,raid and a good spray like frebreeze and then pray that no one visits yah for a couple of months.;)

Well we have not seen the flies yet, but we got a dead one on our back porch which is still stinking the place out [we cant find it anywhere]. I wont go out there, Tom has to go and get anything from the freezer. He reckons another 4-5 days [depending on heat] until the smell dies down. As Amy would say .... yucky pooh mommy.

Last night Officer Steve pulled over a car weaving in and out of lanes.
He had her step out of the car to do a breathalyzer test when she said: Officer, I cannot do that because I have asthma and it will triger an attack.
Then you will half to come with me to the station for a blood sample.
Officer, I cannot give a blood sample because I am a Hemophilac .
Well then you will half to give a urine sample.
Again I am sorry Officer but I am a diabetic and it will cause me to have low blood sugar.
Very frustrated by now Officer Steve says then you will half to come over here and walk this white line.
I am sorry Officer Steve but I cannot.

Photos were taken of drugged cats, cats too drunk to move, cats put into slavery and cats who are worked so hard that they fall asleep while the feed.

Muma are you okay? I'm so glad you got away. Eng and Eye just told me about your accident. So Granny kicked the Ape with the cast on her ankle, and they though it was you. How in the world did you run away from them and climb up that telephone pole? I have a fear of hights too so I was really concerned when I heard that you fell. They said that you fell down the telephone pole and landed on Granny's Mattress........ Landing on that old mattress had to be worse than the fall from the pole. I heard that Jazz has an extra supply of Lysol but that would be too rough on your body. I'm sure the Lysol will work fine at getting that stick out of your cloths. Ohhh poor Muma..I am so sorry to hear you are so sick....Granny should really consider what she is doing to the rest of us with that mattress...now about that Lysol Onie mentioned...believe it or not..the lysol that is RED will take the stink out of your skin and get rid of the green glow..when my first daughter was born my grandmother got me a bottle of the RED lysol and told me to put one capful in a tub of hot water, as hot as I could stand, and soak in it...several times a day, after 2 days of this soaking treament I did not have one bit of soreness...I passed this tip along to my sister and she tried it and it worked for her, also my 1st daughter, however when Gage was born I could not find a bottle of RED lysol in Las Vegas...maybe sue could find some and order it for you...(this is not a joke it really works) in the mean time I am glad you have such a caring nurse to give us updates on your condition..thank you very much and please keep us informed..

One minute I was being chased by apes and the next I wake up to the smell of lysol and this dang nurse standing there with this syringe that looked as big as a butchers knife :eek: .... yes I admit it, I screamed like a girl. Oh wait. I am a girl. Thats ok then :D. Apparently I'm good to leave so watch out Granny, I'm ordering some bi-hazzard stuff and I'll be on the hunt for that mattress with the full blown, all out bi-gear, breathing apparatus, the works. I aint getting caught in normal clothes with that thing again.

Jazz I wished I'd have had a reason to sit in hot water n lysol when I had Amy. I smile though when I see the C section scar on my belly :) I got a battle scar, not one of those pretty bikini line ones but one of those zipper ones right up the middle. It was covered unless I took a shower. If I'd have sat in a bath. I'd never have got back up :p I wont go into details cos we got a lady almost ready to give birth and dont want to scare her.

That reminds me, has anyone else been asked to go on all fours while they have an epidural in? Its one of the most weirdest sensations I've had LOL.

I hope everyone had a happy Easter..I spent the day mostly in bed and Crops, I really did not even see a piece of Chocolate...was a quiet day ... the big easter egg hunt did me in..who was the bright person who hid those eggs on the hill...I spotted some and went to get them and tripped over a log (Little log) and rolled all the way to the bottom..thank goodness I didnt have on a dress...and that most everyone...but the apes...were not around...Im sure I looked like a beached whale rolling on the grass...my basket and all my found eggs went everywhere..and I had one with money in it too...the apes thought it was so funny..they were dancing around and jumping up and down and pointing at me.. I finally managed to get myself on my knees and then on my feet...those darn apes didnt even offer to help..they were having to much fun watching me struggle..How humiliating..I SLOWLY made my way home...

Hmmmm...sounds like Granny in disguise to me. She's darned good at deception. I guess she was on stilts, one slightly shorter the the other hence the limp, she would wash in the fountain coz she has no water at home which iswhy she had such a smelly mattress. Your new place has a bathroom with shower and running water, so there will be no further need to wash in the town fountain, unless of course, that is a personal preference. Just make sure Sheriff Popabob and his deputy Bobby Bear are not around when you jump in.

Cannon's hardware store has all the stuff you need to fix the place up, but make sure you get plenty of duck tape. This town seems to run on the stuff, don't know why.

Happy hour at the watering hole is from 8 am to 8 am. Be sure to drop in sometime. We want to give you a proper welcome.

I am happy to report that I did get an autograph from Martina. I put a blue flashing light on top of the car and her driver pulled over. He thought I was a COP giving them a ticket. I went up to the car, tapped on the window and told them to please step out side of their car. I asked for both of their ID's and finally told them that I would let them go if they could help me out. When I told them that we had some crazy lady (Granny) on the lose with the Apes and that she is real sneaky. Martina was very happy to assure me that she had escaped Granny. She was more than happy to sign her name to papers. Of course, they were voluntary admittance papers to the rubber room for granny. So Martina had Granny committed! Now we just got to locate her to get her in custody.

I am happy to report that I did get an autograph from Martina. I put a blue flashing light on top of the car and her driver pulled over. He thought I was a COP giving them a ticket. I went up to the car, tapped on the window and told them to please step out side of their car. I asked for both of their ID's and finally told them that I would let them go if they could help me out. When I told them that we had some crazy lady (Granny) on the lose with the Apes and that she is real sneaky. Martina was very happy to assure me that she had escaped Granny. She was more than happy to sign her name to papers. Of course, they were voluntary admittance papers to the rubber room for granny. So Martina had Granny committed! Now we just got to locate her to get her in custody.

I understand you found a fixer upper shake! I also was informed that there is an old Farm at the end of Country Club Road. I was thinking about you because you could raise cows, horses, chickens and also make a pen for the Apes. The monkeys don't get into too much mischief but those APES are the real problem. Maybe if you could capture them, we can get the San Diego Zoo to take them off our hands. I know the Granny is originally from the San Diego area and now I'm told the address is the ZOO. THat sure explains a lot and why she is so attached to those darn apes. Dang, they're related!

Glad we were able to get Martina out of town safely and away from Granny and the Apes. Granny really showed her self by pushing Martina and climbing up the pole. Her pillow was duck taped but then she pulled that off.

Tonight, Martina will be performing but she refused to come and sing on our stage at Scrapsville. She said she would rather take her chances with Simon and Sanjaya. So, we will just wheel the BIG Screen out to the patio again then throw peanut shells at Sanjaya. Goodness, that boy just has to go but I'm afraid that Chris will be the one because he didn't have a good performance last night. I did phone in a bunch of votes for Chris, because every vote for CHris is another one cancelled out for Sanjaya!

Onie, I took a good look at that old farm you mentioned - a few problems there as I can see but at least it has a roof - that's one step up from the shack just south of town. I've unloaded the U-Haul and made myself at home - well as at home as I can.

I found the 'Care Package' out the back of the barn - where I come from that's called a 'Couldn't Care LESS package' - the flange off the axle of a tractor, two half eaten tortilla's, a cardboard toilet roll centre, a book of matches from some dance hall in Waco, Texas, an empty rootbeer bottle and a half used roll of duck tape - yeah, real caring package that.

As for the apes well, that's another reason I chose the farm over that deserted shack, I'm so good with animals - I thought they were monkeys but I can see the difference now I've actually seen one up close - well close enough to smell anyway. I'm giving very serious thought to turning the old place into an animal sanctuary and at the same time converting part of the old stables into a sanitarium for those poor unfortunate animals that have done their bolt so to speak. It would be a good area to use because it has solid stone walls on all sides and an autographed photo of martina on the wall - I was thinking that would be a good area for when I need 'lock down' any wayward critters, you know?

I'm sorry I missed the shindig last night, that's one of the problems of living so far out of town (the 12,500 mile journey is a killer with gas prices the way they are at the moment). I have had the thought that if I collect all the animal droppings I could rig up a methane gas collector and convert the old pick-up to run on methane - I found an old book about how to do it in some boxes that were stacked in the washhouse.

In the mean time, if anyone hears of any work going that might tide me over I would appreciate it, I'm a bit short at the moment due to the cost of the U-Haul (I had to pay a penalty fee for late return). They charged me double the daily rate for every day I was overdue plus of course then there was the additional insurance, insurance waiver fee, the insurance surcharge, the insurance waiver fee penalty, an amount for over insurance, the insurance undulation costs plus tax and... oh that's right - the $472,896.87 for the FBI search for a kidnapped U-Haul - I never should have crossed the state line with the thing!!!!

Well I better go - my supper's almost ready (having re-heated tortilla's for dinner) then going to catch up on the town gossip in the Scrapsville Evening Post and off to bed - I'm expecting my first visitor tomorrow (if you don't count the police who called to see me earlier today) - they just dropped in to introducing themselves and welcoming me to town. They were telling me some looney was seen having a wash in the Town Square fountain the other day - the hide of some people - anyway they mentioned that someone is going to drop a couple a casaroles off for me - what a nice thought.

That reminds me, I had a Grandmother (ex hubby's) who lived for her raw garlic. She would chew it but never when she knew someone was coming over. What a sweet memory. Grandmothers died in 1991 and she was near 100 yrs old. Not positive of exact age but estimated about 99.

So, I figure if you plant that acre of garlic, and we all eat it then we wont scare each other off........... except maybe those apes!

Things are calmer around here...at least I can always think they are, huh? My Dad is doing all right since his second surgery...mighty weak, but I think he'll be okay. Two surgeries in less than two months can be stressful on the body.

Hubby still unemployed...just not anything here. And with his medical problem, well it kinda limits what he can do. Ah well, the good Lord has something out there for him somewhere.

I'm having to find an eye doctor...baaaaaaaaaaaad infection of some sort in my left eyelid. Kinda wondering if it might be from when I was trying to clean up my Dad's garden 3-4 weeks ago. Was tugging on a tall weed and it yanked out and whipped across my eye. Been bothering me on and off since then, but no telling what's going on.

We had two recent snowstorms...both times we got 4 inches. My pooooooooooor plants! Thank goodness the stuff over in my Scrapsville Garden Center was inside and...oh wait....that stuff doesn't matter -- IT'S DEAD ANYWAY!! ROFL!!

Anyway...now I gotta catch up on what ya'll have been talkin' about while I've been gone...and geesh, yer all a bunch o' yapper! Look at how many pages since I was last in here....I can't count that high!!! LOL!

I dont know anything about a "Granny Alarm"..I am Steve's secretary at the Secuity Office, (however, Steve had rather "pole dance" than work in the office)..we have security systems for your home and a while back ran a special because the apes were causing so much havoic..since you are our newest citizen we will give you the same discount...just let me know what you decide...

Well, at my eye doctor appointment yesterday, the doc cleaned out a bunch of debris (we are assuming from the weed that whipped across my eye 3-4 weeks ago when I was cleaning my Dad's garden for him) under my eyelid, that in turn badly infected some glands underneath. The doctor cleaned out all the debris and worked on the gland as much as he could. Because of all the irritation and then the cleaning etc. he did on it, it's going to be irritated for several days and quite blurry. I have a lubricant and an antibiotic I have to use for the next two weeks, and have to wear my sunglasses at all times while I am outdoors for the next 5-7 days until my eye starts getting back to normal. With my right eye being the worse anyway, this typing is extra hard to do now. If my eye becomes tired, irritated, etc. while doing my computer work, I'm supposed to stop for a while...we'll see how that works out. I go back for the doctor to re-check it on May 4.

We had quite an eventful evening last night. My kitchen faucet all of sudden this week decided to give out. I had no water pressure...trying to wash dishes the past couple days has been quite a funny thing...fill the dish pan with hot water from the bathtub, carry it to the sink, etc., etc. So hubby checked it out and said it was the faucet, so we ran and got one. We got it put on, and viola! Great water pressure! Yippeeeee! Okay, here's where the story takes a twist...... Hubby went to close the trapdoor to the cellar after we finished (we'd had to turn the water off while working on the faucet, of course) and HE FELL IN!! :eek: For some reason he missed a step and fell right into the cellar. His left arm caught on the pipe that goes to the outside faucet that runs along the cellar stairs. That probably kept him from hitting his head on the cement stairs. I had turned away to do something when it happened and next thing I heard was "Honey!" and there he was...somehow had gotten himself up onto the utility room floor. But he couldn't move his left arm and we thought he'd either dislocated or broken his shoulder. So I had to take him out to the emergency room. Thankfully it was NOT either dislocated or broken - WHEW! But he has badly wrenched/sprained it. Now has to wear a sling for a while, take some extra pain meds, etc. Has a laceration on his elbow...kind of hit his leg (where he already has an on-going 15-year medical problem -- long story) and opened a spot up on it, but it's not too bad. Boy, he's really going to feel it for a while, especially these next few days.

Gee whiz...what else can happen, huh?

Hate to tell ya but we passed the "third one" a loooooooooong time ago. We've probably hit somewhere within the hundreds this year alone. Doesn't help that there are three people in this house that live with on-going medical and health problems anyway...then add to that the strange and bizarre occurences that seem to be part of our life. Yeah, we go to church every Sunday (very active in all the happenings)...and we believe in prayer, so that's part of our daily lives anyway. Sometimes that's the only thing keeping us going...especially this past year. My favorite book in the Bible is Job...go figure my life parallels his. Ah well, we have a lot of love for each other in my family, lots of support for each other during times like this. But it's nice to come in here and be with you guys...thanks for letting me whine once in a while and get it out of my system. (And yes, Marion...we thought of Funniest Home Videos, too, LOL!)

Terry -- have gardening tools, will travel. I love the smell of garlic and onions when I plant them. Been a gardener all my life, it's my #1 hobby (then genealogy, then scrapping, then whatever else). I live for the smell of the earth in the Spring, getting the dirt under my nails. In fact, just spent a couple hours outdoors (yes, with my sunglasses on like the eye doctor told me) and did a bit of transplanting. I think we're finally out of the winter weather (*crosses fingers, toes, whatever can be crossed*)...thank goodness!

Hey, anyone seen the delivery guy around town with my new shipment of dead plants for the Scrapsville plant shop? I checked the tracking on them and the delivery date was yesterday. Hmmmm.....
