Ok, I'm hiding the monkey with Steve's undies. He's going to be the distraction that we use on Granny when we confiscate the mattress. If he moons her, she will be too busy watching him to be aware of the theft. By the time the smoke curls up, it will be too late for her.

However, think we should be nice and get her a new one. After all, we wouldn't want her to have a panic attack. It has to have a plastic cover though since she can't seem to control herself.

Ok, I'm off too find some lost memories. That is, if I can find mine first so that I know what I'm doing.

I will be happy to donate one of those extra mattresses to Granny. I will need to get a receipt for the tax write off. April 15th is quickly approaching so got to get those taxes finished.

While we're at it, we could also give her some used clothing. I understand those monkey's have gotten away with her cloths off the cloths line. I knew it was a matter of time before someone stole her cloths off the line. We saw five of them running down the street with cloths on them and dragging on the road.

One little monkey was messing around several parked cars and was seen letting the air out of 2 of them. I believe the one car belonged to Eye, I have no idea who owns the bright red sports car. Jazz could you pass the word that some of the cars in the town are being tampered with by those little rascles?

Kansas, I wanted to thank you for bringing that chocolate fudge to the RBA meeting last night. It was wonderful. I heard that several of you went skinny dippin at the water hole, after the meeting.

We have our messengers on and have audio or video conferences while we work every day, and today she has been merciless! I wish that ape will get a hold of her and put her in the elevator shaft!!!!

ewwwww, the though of what might be crawling around in that mattress gives me the heebie jeebies. Jazz, maybe if we call Life Flight and say that Granny is sick they will come get her. She will have a death grip on that mattress so they will have to take the mattress too. Onie or Eye could go along for the ride since they are nurses. Once they give Granny a shot, they could push that Mattress overboard.

I thought of an alternate plan..Onie or Eye could go and visit Granny and while there just jam her with a shot of a fast acting drug and knock her out for about 10 hrs or so..we dump her off the old mattress..get those apes (the ones doing some odd jobs around town)
to go thru the stuffin and get all the goodies out..drag out the old mattress out and bring in
the new one Onie is donating...we make it up with some pretty soft and SWEET SMELLIN bedding..and put her back on the bed...I will take the money and stuff to the security office and lock in the safe to be on the safe side...then the apes can drag the old mattress out to that old dried up creek bed and we can torch it...
Oh well we have a few days to decide our best plan of action..I just hope no one tells Granny what we are up too...

Now Scrapsvillers, I will be going out of town tomorrow until late Sunday. Going to go visit my parents in Mesa AZ. And guess what?????? Even going to have lunch with MaggieMae and her hubby tomorrow. And yes, this is going to be a first meeting so we will have some pics to share. :D

Now, I was thinking, maybe St Patty's Day (Mar 17) would be a great day to carry out the hyst of granny's mattress. We will get her drunk on Irish Coffee to get that mattress. I like the idea of getting the Apes to drag it out to the field. Yes and we'll put her stash in a safe. The boom fire with the mattress will be big! We will all meet back at the Town Square for music, dancing, and celebrating. Of course, Granny will have to sleep it off on her new mattress. Jazz, that is a great idea to get her some sweet sheets with perfume. I'm not sure if the Bed & Bath has opened yet in Scrapsville. So, will you check that out for us? :confused:

Dr. Marion will earn her money when she has to start all over with Granny. Eye will have to check in on Granny, as I will be late getting back. Kansas, now you got a break from taking care of Granny at the last party but I believe Sue is going to get Granny her cup of Irish Coffee and keep it full. Crops will go buy the whisky for Granny. :D

Yes Scrapsville will be saved from the stinch of the old mattress. While Granny sucks down the Irish coffee, the rest of us will enjoy our root beer.

Great idea with Granny too.. that mattress is WAY overdue for a "burn"..

I am socking in my tub. I dumped in every veggie I could think of. I feel like having "V8" My son hosed me down outside in the yard with the power hose and vinegar, turned into a pickle. Now socking in the tub and I feel like a raisen.

I'm sorry gang but I refuse to sweep up those droppings and I've already done my job of rescueing Granny. Someone else will have to pick her and her mattress out of that mess. Hi everyone!

Onie and her son Joshua and my husband and I just spent hours together and it was so much fun! Onie is wonderful!! She's so pretty and funny and kind! Just like we all thought!

We both took pictures and are anxious to download them - hopefully, we'll both like them!! LOL I begged Ron not to get too close :o !

Onie and I were thinking how much fun it would be for a bunch of us to take a cruise together - even a little short one that we could all plan for - it would be lots of fun!

While I sit here getting some PC aerobics I thought I'd tender some of my first rate advice to this town...no gratuity necessary. Please!!!

First...the apes were most likely looking for Christmas presents when they arrived...after all...they left great piles of excellent fertilizer for you all. They returned to their nests sadly disappointed and feeling neglected. Sitting around muching on leaves they continued to think about the rebuff and their mood changed...they plotted revenge.

So you see...get to making little presents for them...knit booties for the jungle floor...scraps of their children...pots of bamboo seedlings...etc. I wager you will see a marked change in their behavior. Why!......they may even come into your homes to sit and have a spot of tea...but don't expect them to discuss the conditions in their homeland...it makes them too sad.

I will return with tidbits of wisdom and hope to see an improvement in this town's relationship with the lively, delightful group of apes...;o)

I schnuck into crops plash and found the bloody marys and I do bleeve I had one too many. I fell sleep and I jush woke up-and I shink I feel a bit ooozy yet--I see I mished a lot here. I really shink I can croshat some scarves for dem critters. I am so hoppy that crops has pardoned kim-have a grate time at dinner and schtay away from dem bloody marys!

WOW! What an awful dream!!?! I dreamt that I overindulged myself and it was a bit scarey!! I do believe that Nancy could be right-and I would love to crochet some scarves! HOORAY for Kim-she's been pardoned and gets a limo ride and dinner---beware tho I saw nate the ape jump into the backseat of the limo looking for liquids and substance!! I think Grannys just got nothing good to say right now and is waiting for the appropriate time to counteract. Things are starting to turn around and the town's coming to life-the bright lights are on-the musics playing-and the dancing is starting! Grass skirts and hula hoops! Yippee :D :D

Hi, I've been without a connection for 2 days. YES, Julie (MaggieMae) and I met................ It was so wonderful! We both have the same personalities (TALK TALK TALK) I know we could have kept talking for hours and hours. The time went by TOO fast! But, we will plan to link up again!

Julie and her husband make such a cute couple and compliment each other so well. OH HOW FUN! Julie is a doll!!!

Julie is right, we really need to put a cruise together for 1 yr in advance so we can all have time to plan.

Having a great time in Phoenix with the family. THEY LOVE THE CD I made. I made each of the a CD with a collection of about 130 pages of family events. I used STEVE's music (Thanks Steve).

Nancy..we really didnt do anything to the apes...they came sneaking into town and got into the harware store...sue had just ordered a big supply of duct tape in all colors for the holidays..well the apes got into it and taped themselves all up...we tried to help them by pulling off the duct tape...and well.....they were a bit naked after that...but hey it wasnt our fault..they put the tape on themselves..we just tried to help...now Im not sure about the fertilizer being a gift or a stinking prank..but I will give them benefit of the doubt and will make them some nice soft mittens...red white and blue...as we are very patrotic in Scrapsville... thanks for your insight....

Well Peeps I must be going I have to work on the video I am doing, that is why I havent had any LOs of my trip, I want to complete this Video, make one for the Couple that got married and for her parents, so I have been soo busy. I found this really COOL photo editor called ACDSee OMG I love it! I only have a trial of it for 15 days, and only 10 left to go, So I have been working on all those pictures, I got it down to 550 and had to pick the best out of that, I need only 200 for a Disney Album I got, Oh that was sooo hard!
The funds are low right now after this trip, so I cant afford the program, until next month so I have been working on it day and night until the trial runs out! SO anyway, ( gosh I have been such a jabber jaws lately) I hope to get some LOs done maybe the end of next week! Hopefully! Well off to work I go!

Hi guys...sorry I haven't been in for a week. Lots going on.

My Dad is doing well from his surgery in February, but is set to have more first part of April for another problem. If the surgery doesn't work, he may have to have dialysis. Please keep him in your prayers.

Hubby got call from his boss to start back to work this next Monday...this unemployment was really depressing for him...hope it's not a temporary work thing and gets to going good for them again!

In other news....we roto-tilled our new garden area. Decided to move it to a larger space in the yard, so it's now 33'x33'. Anything that dies in my garden will be offered in my Scrapsville plant store at greatly reduced prices. But if you want live plants...well, you're on your own. Hmmm...although maybe I should have a section for live plants in the store, huh? LOL!

Other than that, I'll be more out of than in Scrapsville for a few more weeks. Just know I'm thinking of you guys and pray all is going well with you and yours.

Well Onie...there is no new mattress..Dr.Duckter and Granny were in on this plot together..Granny has had this big grin on her face all week..not saying a word..just sitting on her steps grinning..Dr.Duckter said it was because she had a new mattress...well our town being the doubting thomas's that we are...and knowing how Granny is about that horrible old mattress sent out a spy..eng skimmed up and looked in the window at Grannys house... and sure enough..old mattress still there....NO NEW ONE...our summation is that Granny gave Dr.Duckter a big junk to pay on her Yatch to tell us she had a new mattress....

Going to Athens first, from there to Patmos, then to Turkey to Ephassus, then Rhodes, Mykonos, Crete and Santorini, then back to Athens for a few days. Can't wait!!!:D

ok! secret meeting time. Everyone except granny!! (secret meeting behind closed doors) I think we need to forget about grannys mattress! We have to completely ignore that mattress and act like we don't care about it anymore. When someone brings up the mattress change the subject-act like its totally meaningless! Carry on with our lives as if the thing doesn't exist. Than when granny's completely comfortable with that she will start joining us and do things with us leaving her mattress at home. Than after a few days of her joining us in our daily routines and realizing we don't care about the darn thing-BAMM-someone gets in her house and swaps it out with a new one!! I think this could work. If we keep going on the way we are grannys' going to withdraw from all human contact, and we have to save her from herself. What do you say everyone??? Quick check-in...am around, just busy with life stuff going on. You guys have written sooooooo many pages since my last visit that I'm not even gonna try to read it all right now, LOL! My Dad having surgery April 2, but he's still really weak from the other surgery in February, so don't know how that is going to affect anything. He has pre-op stuff March 27, so they will do whatever tests they need to do then in prep for the surgery. I went down and worked in his garden for him today, cleaning up the area, etc....doubt he'll feel like doing much this year (for the first time in pert near 60 years he may not have a garden...he's 81), but it helps him have something to think about doing eventually maybe. If nothing else, maybe I'll plant a couple tomatoes for him to watch and go down when I can to take care of them (we live 30 minutes away). Mom has her hands full trying to take care of Dad AND grandmother (they can't leave grandmother alone anymore)....wish I could get down there like I need to but we're still having trouble with the car, ARG! Other than that, all okay, just busy taking care of this stuff for Dad and my own life stuff at home (hubby still on unemployment, still looking for other work)...doing extra web dev lately myself to try to make up for things, so not much time for scrapping here, but I think of you guys often. All right, now off to get some sleep. {{hugz}} to all! :D

Hello Peeps!!! Just got back from the Wedding Shower, Oh yes 1 more wedding this year, not in Disney though, BOO HOO, But this one is in Maryland, on a beach somewhere. Hey it gets me out of PA I am happy!!!
I am just hoping that I can get this Disney Scrapbook done before the next wedding! I have 2 months to go, So I might just make it! The movie I was making is a total disaster! I tried 4 times. 3 times I lost it and the 4th Well I have no idea what the heck happened, So I say to myself ...Its just not the right timing for it, It took me 42 years to get to Disney it may take 42 years to make the Movie!!!!
So anyhowwwwwwww, I am hoping the gloom and doom that is hanging over Scrapville wont be here for much longer! We need some happy news in here!

Well Crops I finally came out of "The Ritz"... hahahah LOL, Sorry everyone, haven't stopped by in a while, just been rather hectic at home too, but some good news for me anyway.. Hubby taking me away to one of Our Five star hotels on the ocean for 5 days!!! Can't wait.. leaving on Thursday 29th and will be back on April 5th... The man spoils me.. Going to set up a "link" on his Laptop just to pop in and see how everyone is doing.. (i don't have one, as never really needed one)..
So Crops I can stop living off your "lottery win" now.. which by the way was Awsome.. but I think Granny has been slipping in and out here checking out the barmen down at the pool since the "doc" has been on leave.. could they be slipping her toooo much rootbeer? I think you need to keep someone on her tail to check what's up?

ohhh wowwww 5 days on the beach in a five star hotel...you have sure been a good girl..and you are sooo addicted..LOL carrying a laptop to check in on us...you sure do have a fantastic husband to be so understanding of your hobby...You didnt tell me after our night out that you were staying on at the Ritz..I would have stayed too..Crops could have afforded it..lol

Pk, the funniest is I LIVE right next to it.. but it's taken for granted most times.. ( bad I know).. and then when it's a beautiful "barmy" day we remember it's there and take a 5 minute drive for a stroll with the dogs and a soft serve..( some of our best family times).. But we are a "camping" family.. and that's usually how we spend our holidays.. so this is a MAJOR excitment for me.. heehee "ROOM SERVICE".. how lovely..hahahaLOL.. Will bring back pics to show you all.. and what am I going to do..mmmmmmm, that would leave you all blushing..LOL.. but packing in my golf clubs..( hahaha, now that's something no-one here knew.. I play golf.. well I try.LOL) and they have a spa as well which I have been told I can go and visit.. the rest will be spent reading my book that's been sitting next to my bed since Christmas by the ocean!!
As for Granny... She was sneaking back from the "Ritz" again.. I tell you there are some really "hunkY' barmen at the "poolside bar"... Gotta get those investigators out ASAP.. sneaky devil.:D

No they sure aren't eng...we have really messed up our planet earth...I have been reading and seeing a lot of things lately that I never paid much attention to and its really scary..by the time our great grandchildren are grown earth as it is today wont exist.. it will be all different..global warming and all that..Im sure our ancestors never thought about it either..and now earth is not the same as it was back then either...I for one am going to try to learn more about whats going on in the world and what I can do to help...Im too addicted to SBooking...lol

Yes this global warming is too scary. I watched the documentary film with Al Gore on global warming and it's serious stuff. When you have ice shelfs break off that are miles and miles long that should get us all thinking. There is so much we can do in our daily lives to help. I recommend everyone to see the Al Gore documentary. Of course some other scientist have different opinions on it, but we should all be more aware of it.

You poor thing! We used to live with those critters all the time when I was growing up, We lived on a farm and the creepy critters would always come out at night! We could actually hear them through the walls, I was always so scared those rodents would chew through the wall and attack me while I slept! OH MAN Thanks god those days are over!!!!!
We set traps all over the house using peanut butter, My dad always said he found them and they were gone, to make us feel better I think, cause at night they would BE BACK!!! gives me the hibbie gibbies just thinking about!
The only advice I can give you is make sure HUBBY finds them and see for yourself they are dead!!:eek: :eek:

Oh how I always hated when they invaded. Spent plenty of time chasing them around the house and traps all over. Worst time was when we found a large family in the garage. I was so mad that I was throwing stones at them as they came outside and my daughter, who was about 10 at the time, was crying because I was killing the babies. Boy did she lay a guilt trap on me.

We have a JANE DOE in custody of the police. Apparently there has been a mysterous person walking down Main Street, carrying a bottle in one hand and waving a white flag in the other. No one knows for sure who this lady is because she had no ID but she was singing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame". She also keeps asking for Dr. Dunkster. She taken into custody and put into a holding cell but now she is jumping up and down on a mattress. Does anyone have any clue as to who this mysterous woman is as we believe she is having some mental break down.

Onie...oh my goodness...I bet that woman is Granny's cousin, Mildred Anne..I heard she was coming for a visit to see if Granny was really losing her mind...and from what I hear..she would like to get her hands on some of Grannys stashed money..and LISTEN to this juicy tid bit...after kim saw Granny at that plush hotel..I put one of the Security Office's best detectives on the case..he reported that it is indeed Granny at the hotel..living it up by the pool..watching the good looking men...drinking drinks with little pink umbrellas in them...said Granny was talking just fine there..he also said that
Granny has her mattress under lock and key ( 2dead bolts and a bar and bolt across the door) with 2 BIG Baboons guarding the door and one on her balcony...Mildred Anne and Granny were probably out partying and Granny lost her and then she got lost and tried to surrender...I hear there are some bad feelings between those 2 going back to school days when Mildred Anne tried to take Granny's boyfriend away and told some big tale on Granny that got her in lots of trouble...I sure would like to know about that story!!!

I can not believe that there are 2 people like Granny. I'm especially glad that Granny is enjoying her drinks by the pool. That Granny is pretty fisty and I'm sure she was not happy when that cousin stole her boyfriend. I heard that the cousin was taken hostage by one of those apes. Eng said she thought she saw something up in the trees by the park. Eye house has been dark inside so I don't think anyone is there. HI PEEPS! So far so good, not sure what is going on yet, I have cleaned out my system, defrag, checked file for bad sectors and nothing is showing up wrong. Checked for virus- nothing. I deleted 1 gig of stuff, cause I do know that my gig space is running low. I have 2 questions for the day, if anyone knows please tell me ok?
1. How many mega bytes are in 1 gig?
2. I have seen this question in my computer... Compress drive to save disk space? If I hit that what will happen. Not sure what to do next, if anything at this time, I know besides getting a new one, but gosh I spent all me money in Disney! Just trying to hold on to this piece of crap alittle longer!

Croppie....I think the problem is Granny...shes mad at some of us, not speaking, and putting hex's on some of our computers..mines acting funny too..darn I guess we are going to have to give up on her mattress, let her keep the smelly old thing and learn to live with the smell..althought the envoirmental meter is going to blow from the bad odors..shes granny and the mattress is part of her soooo..and Dr Duckster is getting rich off her with those ink blob test...we are also going to have to watch Mildred Anne... just had a thought..is Steve going to do his pole dance at the 5000 party????I dont know if Scrapsville can handle steve dancin on the pole and granny on the table...what a night that will be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
