Good Morn Scrapsville...As I was coming to work this morn I had to stop at the store..next to the store is the rest stop..I glanced over there and saw 2 huge piles of wrappings and of course I had to investigate...duct tape wrappings..colored ones at that..red green yellow and blue...hummm I must check with sacannon to see if there was a breakin at the hardware..try to contract our detective/reporter and stop by the sheriffs office to see if anyone has reported anything...crops name keeps coming to mind as she has 3 or 4 christmas trees in her house..and she loves to decorate so....sacannon has decorated her house and her moms...eng has been decorating a lot too...is someone tryin to surprise us with some decorations are is it an act of vandalism...well someone else will have to get involved in this one..I have to spend the day locked in my office going over old reports...dont tell my boss but Im really scapping...hope everyone has a wonderful day..stay out of trouble and remember tis the season to jolly.. hugsss oh and does anyone have any information on all our citizens who have been mia for a few weeks now..

Sorry I haven't been around, have been on hairdresser training courses. Had to do one one coz I cut Granny's hair uneven. Can't understand what went wrong I used a ruler. It was a nice purple zig zag one from my paper scrapping. Anyway I got a nice wig for you Granny that you can wear until it grows. It's red, green, yellow, orange and pink with black spots on. I hope you like it.
Gosh Jazz you are working hard!
I have another training course this afternoon, what to do when someone's hair falls out and what to do if you dye their hair the wrong colour. Should be good!
Tomorrow it's the beautician side. Book early coz appointments are going fast.
I'm having an aquarium put in so Smile feels at home.

I just tell you I'm a bit perturbed this morn...I got up and got ready for work, opened my front door and my storm door is completely covered with....yep...you guessed it.....DUCT TAPE..taped shut...could not budge that door...go to my back door and yep....same thing..now I assume that the person responsible for this didnt know they were doing me such a big favor..I have no one to take the tape off so I am taped inside and cant get out...soooooo I get to stay home today and work on my scrapbook ALL DAY LONG...if anyone of you see my boss tell him why Im not at work...wait about a day or 2 and send someone to rescue me..I Have pleanty of food and diet coke for that long...I hope whoever did this used red and green tape on the front door and make it look good anyway!!!! :eek:

Morning all. I had to get up early to print my Mother-in Law's Bording Pass. Hubby is taking her to the Airport this morning to go to Boston. She spends Christmas with my sister-in-Law.

I just thought I would take a few minutes to see if anything was going on. At this time in the Morning looks like Eng is the only one around. Of course it is not early to her! I think I need to lay back down for a little while. Still tired. Party was fun last night. There were about 30 people there. All people I used to work with. Lots of food! All good too. Yum. Boy, sure am going to have to diet after the Hollidays!

well along the street I found some lights, The thief whoever it may be never got caught. She ran off into the woods when Smile was chasing her---yep I said her --- She was green in color almost like the Grinch.But I noticed she dropped something, Finders keepers ---loosers weapers. Anyways I gathered them up before Smiles did and it was enough to make my Christmas Merry and Bright.Outside is all done. girls. Cannot wait till night. Going to Smiles tonight. She is feeling better.

I took this photo at the abandon popcorn factory yesterday and someone started shooting at me .I think they were trying to distroy the photo evidence as it seems that the photo was shot up pretty badly.But we can still make out the piles of duct tape and there sick idea of fun...Throwing darts at yours truely.
I hope we catch these bad guys soon before that abduct one of you and do .................................................. well we won't go there!:D

Good Sunday Morn everyone..Crops what in the world is wrong with you..do we need to call 911 to your house...well Bobby Im very impressed with the good police work you are doing..our last detective was a bit lax in her job..she could not make up her mind if she wanted to detect or report!!! Im still taped up but I think Im about ready to get out of here..too much of a good thing gets to be too much sometimes..I am just not making much progress on the sb..I think Im tired of doing it and cant take time off..the last few pages Ive made have been terrible but I dont have time to redo them..oh well..you know how mothers are...she will think they are wonderful because I made them for her..

The weather was perfect for the cruise but the sad thing was that the weather in St Louis etc, prevented 5 members of our family from making the boat! Other than that,,,,, it was incredable! I'm working on my pages but will not be able to post them until I have the entire scrapbook published.

I'm glad to be back here too! Did you check out my postings in the Gallery for the Calender Pages???? I'm really happy with how the overall calenders turned out. I had them printed from Shutterfield. They do pretty good work! My family calender will be the start of collecting our family tree.

Hi Onie..been wondering where you were..last I read you had just gotten home from the cruise..we missed you..hope you will be here more..I have some advice about this soap...dont try to figure it out..we all get confused sometimes too :D somewhere along the line it got to be trying to find out more about the friends in the soap and it got like a chat room...and then in trying to keep the soap theme going at the same time things really get confusing...one thing is for sure though..its very enlightening and also very funny so just read and dont try to figure it out..thats what I do ...ROFL..
another thing for sure eye needs help at the hospital..she has been giving enimas for ever ailment...i think she and smile have moved into the waterin hole and drink to much of that ROOT beer...eye has just been making more and more of those beautiful nature pages.. so the bottom line is.. the characters are real loving caring concerned friends and the make believe is the best in cyberland so we have the best of both worlds :)

Well this morning started off rather annoying I started coffee and FORGOT to put the coffee pot back on the burner.... Yes coffee everywhere!!! Oh I can tell this is going to be one of those days!!! I plan on baking but if I burn myself just once I am calling it quits for the day!!!! I got an email about Colby, he is not doing well, stopped eating and has the runs ****! the lady that is taking care of him might have to start IV today, so it looks like we will not be getting him on wednesday!! Unless some miracle occurs which I highly doubt! Well enough said this morning I must go and battle the kitchen. Have I ever told you I AM A SLOPPY BAKER!!! Flour goes everywhere! I try to be neat but it never works out that way, so after baking all day I have to not only clean up the kitchen I have to wipe walls and the ceiling down HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I am laughing now but I wont be later! have agood day peeps and I will chat with ya all later!!!

Crops sorry to hear about your bad day. You know you could always come here and someone will CHEER you UP!!:) No matter what she says you guys didn't ruin her day, SHE did. I never could undestand what it is with teens and kids not appreciating the thought or the gift. It's always HOW much and Name brand. Well, I had a long message all typed to everyone, then my computer frose up after I submitted it. I am not going to try and re-do the whole thing, here is the short version.

Eye you are so right. My mother wished a child on my sister to be just like her. Guess what...she got 2 out of 3 just like her! Pay backs are a B_ _ _ _ ! So Crops, hang in there! When they say what goes around comes around, they weren't kidding. They are great kids now that they are older. For the most part they were good when they were younger too, but boy talk about bull headed!
That does seem to run in our family...of course not meeeeee! (But don't ask my Hubby, he he).

Onie, glad you had a good time, sorry some of your family didn't make it. Glad you are back to help Eye out, she can use the help. You need to help Smile get better so she can find out who has been hi-jacking my duct tape, because Jazz has been taped up in her house and can't get out.

I read your note and my heart broke in half. I thought I was all alone in this big world of dealing with a teenage brat! I too have an 18 yr old (Son) who is basically a good kid but he's a slob!!!! He pushes my buttons too! Here I am a single woman on a very tight income and he thinks nothing of spending money, wasting it, then wont even keep his room in order! I get so frustrated because he's a slob!!!! I keep thinking that I will just close the door to his room but his room stinks! It reaps of something!!!! It went so far that I refused to allow him to bring his stinky shoes in the house!

I went through 3 teenage sons. I have been were you are...They were rebellious, mouthy, lazy, slobs, etc. just like yours.

Think of them as being out on a river in a canoe, going through the rapids and the white waters, our job is to stear them through the rough spots, and sometimes it seems that we do all the paddling. But after in a little while the water calms down again. They will pick up their own paddles.
The river returns back to normal.....

That does not mean they should get their way, they just need extra guidance and sometimes that means saying "No!"

In a few years your kids will return to be humans again, and after a while, once they move out, as unbelievable as it seems now, you may even become good friends!

I feel so rotten and so no not normal. I have no problem with my children as we all go through the normal stages. But if you listen to me and please do not judge me by my cofession. Here I go to spill the beans.

Well I find it hard to be a grandmother. Only too sons that is.When I got my first grandson I was scared to be close. Could not as I knew she was crazy. I would tell my son Jack to keep his daries and to bide his time as someone that evil will slip up. Thanks to computers she met someone in America and left her son behind to his father. If you only knew the nightmare we went through,. At the age of 7 I said to the girls at work I am finally a grandmother-- I think they thought I lost it.
Now we are close. But he has a bad record of girls. This one seems nice but do I soften or do I build a wall. I guess when you have boys it is hard eh. I have a daughter.My mum use to say a son is a son till he takes a wife and a daughter is a daughter the rest of your life.She had 11 children and finally I catch her drift.She had so much wisdom.So that is my tale. So be it by the secret society.

My son is ADHD and has been on meds for 5 yrs. This year, at age 18, he decided to do it on his own and stop taking his medications. I will admit, he is getting all A & B's but dang he's mouthy at times. Right this moment, he is up stairs under my orders, to clean up his mess. My parents, are coming in on Friday and they will be staying in his room! Talk about scarey!!! He has grown a lot over the past 18 months and would not agree to clear out the cloths that don't fit. His drawers have gotten so full that he has no room for his current cloths, therefore, his cloths have been spread out everywhere. I actually forgot the color of his carpets!!!! LOL. I went into his room a few minutes ago, and he didn't hear me, because he had his ear phones blasting in his ears, he accused me of sneaking to check up on him!

On another Note,,,, I keep reminding myself that a prayed a long time for him. As you all know, my other son died of cancer at age 6 in 1981. Then I am reminded, be careful of what you pray for, you might get your prayers answered!!!! Goodness, you love these kids thn you want to shoot them!

Being a single parent is hard enough. Trying to be both Mom & Dad! I know my 31 yr old daughter is getting her hands full with her kids.

Well, I'm sure we will all survive.

Don't feel bad Eye. I had 2 sons going through divorces and the fear of losing a grandchild is horrible! We went through a lot with our first grandson, having to go to court and spending a lot of money, but at least we finally landed up with 50/50 custody and placement. My other son has primary custody of both his 2 boys, his wife decided she wanted to be a party girl and live her own life. I take care of his little boys every afternoon, and I am too pooped to party lately! But I know in the end it will all be worth it. Onie, for you too, live goes fast and before you know it he will find a girl and change into a responsible adult with a wife and kids and a job. As much as it does not seem like it now, they do change back to normal. I heard once that you should not judge yourself as a parent untill your youngest is 29. And you know what it is true, even my youngest who was the most rebellious is 29 now and he is happily married with 2 boys and a job. Had you asked me 12 years ago and I would not have believed it!
I am here to testify that most kids turn out just fine given time and much much patience,

My son has been gone for nearly 26 yrs now. I try to look for the good from something so bad. I believe I've accomplished that..... You see, my son's illness then dealth brought my life meaning with my career. I was not a nurse back then. As a Nurse, I've been able to work with cancer patients, hospice patients and with children. I wished I could say that I'm a solid rock, but I can't. In fact, I'm a school nurse, and I am currently facing that same sad event with a 12 yr old student. My prayer is that she will survive her cancer through the Holidays.

I do try to overlook a lot of things with my youngest son. Sometimes I feel that I have been too easy with him because of the past.

On the bright side, I went up stairs to check the current status of the bedroom project. I am seeing his floor and the closet! YIPPY YIPPY. He has several bags of cloths to haul out and 2 trash cans of trash. We are making progress!!!!! YIPPY!!!!

I wanted to share my favorite cookie recepie with all you wonderful girls, being that you are all so generous and stuff. I hope you like it and can use it soon!

The Best Cookie Recipe Ever!

Ingredients:
1 cup of water
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup of brown sugar
Lemon juice
4 large eggs
1 cup nuts
2 cups of dried fruit
1 bottle Crown Royal

Directions:
Sample the Crown Royal to check quality.
Take a large bowl, check the Crown Royal again, to be
sure it
is of the highest quality, pour one level cup and
drink.
Turn on the electric mixer...Beat one cup of butter in
a
large fluffy bowl.

Add one teaspoon of sugar...Beat again.
At this point it's best to make sure the Crown Royal
is
still OK, try another cup.. Just in case.
Turn off the mixer thingy.
Break 2 leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup
of
dried fruit.

Pick the frigging fruit off floor...
Mix on the turner.
If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers just
pry it
loose with a dewscriver..

Sample the Crown Royal to check for tonsisticity.
Next, sift two cups of salt, or something.... Who
giveshz a
sheet.

Check the Crown Royal.
Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts.
Add one table.
Add a spoon of AR, or somefink.... Whatever you can
find.
Greash the oven
Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over
Don't forget to beat off the turner.
Finally, throw the bowl through the window
Finish the bottle of Crown Royal
Make sure to put the stove in the dishwasher

Bad news people.... Colby was rushed to the vet they think he has Corona Virus, which is an infection in the intestines or digestive system(I think) anyway i wont hear anything until tonite on how he is doing, So I have to ask you guys to pray for the little guy to pull through! I know if there is enough people praying that miracles happen!!!!! We had a choice to pick from the litter and they all got this virus, and are doing fine now, its just down to Colby and that other one (brown one) that I showed you the picture, that is his sister. they both were rushed to the vet. so pray for her too okay!!! If it was meant to be, then we will have him, when he is ready. Thanks guys!!!!

Hi Jazz, If Carol's are the same as mine you make them in mini muffin pans. You line the pan with a dough (Cream Cheese, butter and flour), then you fill them with a mixture. I don't remember all the ingredients off hand but it has brown sugar and nuts. They are sort of like a bite sized pecan pie. My recipe called for walnuts, but I use Pecans generally. We always called them nut cups, but I have seen other recipes refer to them as nut tassies or pecan tassies.

My parents will be here Friday and I will be off for 2 weeks. Looking forward to the break! The kids at school are real ornery (into mischief) this week.
Today the 6th graders had an open FOOD FIGHT in the cafeteria. Oh my, we had over 40 or 50 kids involved. Food flying everywhere. Needless to say, the boys that started it got into real trouble. The other kids are all tattling on each other.

Food fights ..........remember them well! I went to boarding school and they were really and truly some of the happiest and most memorable of my life.The cookery room had a general ingredients cupboard full of flour etc. These ingredients used to fly around the room after cookery so fast. If we had been cooked we would have risen! The floor used to be plastered , we were plastered lol. I don't remember getting caught although we often did it.

Wonderful pages of the baby eye..all grandmas have to have a brag book..glad we are getting to see yours..Im looking forward to seeing many more.. love watching him grow and change in your picures..eng...that sounds like some of the things we used to do when I was in college..living in a dorm is an experience I wish everyone could have...I lived on the 3rd floor..one night 2nd floor came up and greased every door knob, water facet, shower knobs, everything you had to put your hands on to turn or open..with vasoline..we could not let that one go so a few nights later we tied a bunch of panty hose together and snuck down after lights out and went down the hall and tied all their doors together...only one we didnt do was the counselors..no one could get out of their rooms...was sooo funny..now that I think about it that was really dangerous..if we had a fire they would have been in trouble...when you are young you dont think of those things..one weekend a bunch of us stayed at school to study..someone snuck some slo gin in by putting it in a colgate mouthwash bottle..(both were red) we got in one room and made some slow gin fizz..if you havent drank that its wonderful.. doesnt taste like alcohol at all..and it takes a while to hit you so you keep drinking.. when it finlly does you are sooo messed up..we would have gotten caught with that one except one of the gang went out that night and came in and found us and got us back to our own rooms...needless to say we didnt get any studying done...we used to have canasta marathons that lasted all night..we would stop and eat breakfast and go for our 7 oclock class and sleep thru it..I could write a book on all the crazy things we did..was a great time in my life..:D

he he Jazz. We pinched the visiting boy's school bikes and rode thm in sme woods in the grounds. The light fell off mine and so we were found out. We were all got up at 6 in the morning to search for it. Got caught smoking and sent to the head, about twelve of us. I was most put out because when she asked me why I had done it she answered her own question and said 'I know easily influenced'. I remember dancing on the table in English and I didn't get reported! That teacher was nuts really. It was a library table, highly polished wood, I should have been skinned really lol. Lots of greasy yummy food. I found a few of them on Friends Reunited (reunion site for schools) and we emailed for a while. It didn't continue for long. Shame, they were wonderful friends.I suppose we have all changed, we were all teenagers then!

They suspended a bunch of kids involved in starting the Food Fight. Today the boy that called the Food Fight showed up at school, out of uniform. Somehow his parents did not know that he was suspended. He got into trouble again and today was escorted off campus. For the life of me, I do not understand how the Administration didn't make contact with his parents yesterday.

I commented today that I had the slowest day of the year. I had only 25 kids show up today in my office, instead of the usual 55-60. I was told it was because the trouble makers were all suspended! LOL

My parents will be visiting through New Years. I will be off until Jan 4th. 2 weeks of down time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yippy!!!!!!!!!! :D

Boxing Day is nice, Make double time and a half--- about $400 today:D :D .Can you see how happy I is.But I also worked three Hoildays in a row and that is even bigger money Yippee:D .Just wake me up girls am I dreamin.But you know what is even better when I looked at the girls and said this is great it is my last Christmas to work and luved to see them frown because some are just starting their carreer and some have 10 -15 years to wait.:) Missed you Eng but you know I am thinkin about yah.

It also mention it was the first time for us to be recognizing Boxing Day (Not their exact wording). But it is the first time I have ever heard of any stores in the States recognizing Boxing day with a sale. At least around here. I have heard of it. The News papers usual do a human interest story on it each year.

Having my Christmas party tonight. With having a major split in our family I do not know who will arrive.I know I will never see them all together again but it would be nice.I have people coming that I do not know.Should be a interesting evening.Hope all oges well.I always worry have I made enough and is my house clean enough.Lots of pictures. I do understand having splits in families. My family has basically always been together. We've had an occasional tiff but quickly got over it. My Ex husband's family was a total different story. It made thing so hard. The cool thing about scrapbooking is that the ones who don't show up can still be included in your pages but presented differently. I have faith in you eye!

The most creative thing I did was take an old 11 x 14 picture apart and removed my EX from the picture, then rearranged it without him in it. I wouldn't have normally done that but the 2'nd husband did not want me to display #1 on the wall. Couldn't blame him for that!!!!! I just wanted to have the pic of myself with my children. Maybe someday I will scan both pics to show what I did!!!! I still have a 5x7 of the original.

Welcome to scrapsville, the nutty town from another Sue. We are always glad to have another nut around to help keep the town running. It has been slow here lately with the holidays, but will probably pick up again after new year. I am sure we have all forgotten what was taking place story wise. Last I knew some one had broken into the Hardware store stole my duct tape. It was used all over the town, covered cars and they covered Jazz's house with it and she was trapped in. I hope she is ok. I don't remember all the rest. but that is the short synopsis.

Hi Onie, I don't know if your are confusing Crops Magazine and the Scrapsville Times or not. I just did a "Frame" for "Scrapsville Times", Then added the first add for the Hardware which I am suppose to be running. I am not a writer either and didn't intend to be a reporter. I was just "Advertising" what I had on sale at the hardware per granny's request. I wouldn't mind "Owning" the paper, some one else can to the reporting.
