Kazr, you aren't bothering anyone. Quite the opposite, that's what this place is for. Please post any links you find. :)

I'd chime in but I'm not too sure what all is going out with the new DPI enhanced version, etc. Once we know that, then we can say what alphabet sets will be posted online, etc. Anyhow there's a few new sets coming at 200DPI, just not sure exactly when. Soon though. :)

Thanks

you are right there are lot of them in there. I went there last night and never touched the surface. But thanks for the one on baby block. Guess I will be lots again today. :)

Still looking for some that do not have the white area around them. So they are like the ones we have and do not show the white area on colored backgrounds. But even like they are they are great.

Nothing like wanting every thing. :D

Thanks again

Thanks Corey & Crafty Granny
As you say its so nice to share, we all get the benefits that way :D
It's a shame about the white backgrounds, didnt even realise that, but maybe there is away to get around that ,heres hoping .
Corey the new version just keeps on getting better & better, can't wait to see the outcome :p

I am working trying to figure a way around that problem. Maybe when I get my photo digital editing sofeware I might be able to convert them to embleshment with out too much trouble.

Wish you luck there, there is always so much to learn with digital scrapbooking, I am very naive on that aspect of it, thats why I love here, its all so very easy on the grey cells :p
I know a lot of files come in PNG form & they seem to work without a white background but again I know nothing about them whatsoever, please let us know what you find out:o

yes I will

Yes PNG allows you to have smooth transparency in your embellishments. PNG is the way to go if your embellishment has areas of transparency. If not, i.e. if the embellishment is perfectly rectangular or square with no areas of transparency then JPG will sometimes make your projects smaller for emailing, etc. Anyhow think of it this way:

Transparency = Use PNG
No Transparency = Use JPG

Thanks Corey
thought it was something like that, now here is the question,is there an easy way to convert a JPG to a PNG file?

Corey

Sure, just open it in any image editor and then resave to PNG. This can be done even with free software like irfanview: http://www.irfanview.com/ :)

Silly me, should have realised it was that easy, I have Irfanview ,will give it a go...Thanks.

These just came to me in a random passing thought, so I made a collection of upper case A-Z Scrabble tiles for all to use...

I am also working on a complete collection of these tiles (400w x 400h, 300 DPI, upper/lower case & punctuation) that will work well for hi-rez printing when it becomes available in the next release.

Enjoy and let me know what you think!

Granny - If you haven't found what you want yet (alphas with transparent backgrounds) www.letteringdelights.com has just updated to transparent backgrounds on their alphas. I have purchased a few, but haven't used them yet. As a launch for their new transparent backgrounds, ALL TRANSPARENT ALPHAS ARE ON SALE FOR $1 EACH! It's a steal of a deal.

They offer their own free program in which to use their alphas. With their program you can type your title and save the whole word or phrase as .pgn (transparent, of course) then add it to your Scrapbook MAX page. This little downloadable program works like a dream - you don't have to spend a bunch of time lining everything up and spacing it correctly.

You can also use the alphas just as any other, putting in one letter at a time.

Hope this info helps!
