I am wanting to add music to my scrapbooks and make a video/movie. I have figured out how to do put music and make the video/movie. But now I need to know how to get more than one song to play during the video/movie.
Any help would be appreciated. This is driving me nuts.:)
Thanks

Hi Crafty Granny,
What sort of problem are you having?
Have your read Chapter 3 of the User's Guide? Look at the section called "Background Music". Here's a link to the online version:
http://www.scrapbookmax.com/webhelp/Users_Guide/Chapter_3_.htm
To add music files to your scrapbook, click on the background music icon on the toolbar (the music notes) or choose Object > Music from the menu. A dialog box called Background Music will appear. Click the Add button to add some music files. You can add as many files as you want. If you've chosen more than one song for your track list, you can choose to have the songs play sequentially (i.e. in the order that you've listed them), or randomly.
Does that help?

I have done all that. The problem is I have selected several songs to play. but Only one plays.
I want to know how to get my other songs to play before the video is over.
Thank

Could it be that the song you are using is longer than the video? When publishing your movie, you can increase the timer field (The amount of time each page is displayed in seconds (1-60), or you can add more pages to your scrapbook or you can pick shorter songs if you want to hear more than one.

I do have one suggestion. Start with a new project and add two different song files, ensuring that these song files have no gaps or silence on the start/end. Then try it out, my guess is it might work. I just gave it a test on my end and it seems to work. Keep us posted. :)

I had figured out the above items.
But now even though there is 20 pages, It only plays 10 of them.
Can anyone tell me why??
Thanks

If this is not too technical, you could try:
Add up the total length of the music in seconds and divide it by the number of slides. This will give you the length of time the timer should be set to...
# of SECS/# of SLIDES = TIMER DURATION
Example:
180 secs/ 20 slides = 9 secs/slide
Make any sense? :)

Yes that does Make sense. and Thank You so much. As a matter of fact I had just figured that out this morning.
But I wanted to work on a movie. That can be played on a dvd player. But it only plays 10 of the 20 pages.
Thanks everyone for all your help. :)

Have you tried just 11 or 12 pages just to see if it stops at 10?
You might try that... Maybe it's a bug that might need to be addressed...

The programmers will be in on Monday, I'm sure they'll address that if someone else doesn't first. :)

Well that worked. Then I added more pages from the templates and added music and have tested all the way to 18 pages so far. And it works so far.
So I have no ideal why the other one did not work.
Thanks to everyone's help.
Be back if have any other questions or problems. :) :)
