What Is A Scrapbooking Sketch?
A scrapbooking sketch is a drawing of an idea for a page or layout.
The sketch presents a proposed placement of photos and embellishments on a scrapbook page.
Scrapbooking sketches are intended as a guide or a starting point for you to create your own page.
Using A Scrapbooking Sketch
Sometimes a particular sketch idea will not work exactly for your photos and available embellishments.
Perhaps your photos are landscape instead of portrait, maybe you donít have exactly the right embellishments or perhaps you donít like to journal on your pages.
This doesnít mean you canít use the sketch idea. It simply means you have to be a little creative!

I had created this for my BLOG a few days ago... what do you think... is it acceptable for the challenge???

Went with the theme of wedding flowers.
Journaling: I went down on bended knee here to ask you to spend the rest of your life with me. Now, I am on bended knee again to pledge my love to you for the rest of my life.

Great challenge Fiona. This is the first time I've used a sketch, so thanks for a great one Fiona, I love it.
Here is my layout:
I went with the colour scheme for inspiration and used it to scrap a picture of my son Jason and our youngest granddaughter Gracie. She's such a peach, we can't get enough of her! Now they have all gone home and I'm a little bit sad. :( But I have lots of pictures of Gracie and Scarlet to play with instead of the girls!

Coming in with my second layout for this challenge. I took some liberties with the sketch and kind of mirrored it.
I used the colours from the photographs again and I'm really quite pleased with how it turned out.

I went with the colors. I used papers and embies from Moonbeams lovely Metalic Olive Template kit, recoloring them to match this challenge. My oldest granddaughter graduated Nursing School this month after working very hard for it. I'm so proud of her.
I just noticed that I cropped of some of the side jounalling.
Attending school full time all week and working 16 hour double shifts every weekend
made for long and exhausting weeks, and monthsbut was worth it.
