Scrappin' Challenge 18

I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day....Mine was awesome...was great to be with the family!
Now that Mother's Day is over...I want you to scrap about it...<wink>

Here is what I want you to do for this challenge...

*Using any kit from the store or freebies from SBM...(please give credit)...Make a layout that shows how you spent your special day...Whether it be breakfast in bed, maybe some flowers you received, something one of your children did for you, etc etc...OR...you can make a layout showing off what you did for YOUR mom...Either one will work...
*Please show off at least 2 photo's...but you can use more..lol....
*Add soem journaling to let us know what happened or what you did...

Ok, now your all probably wondering what your prize is going to be, huh? This one is special...
IF you make a layout , following the rules...You will get this kit for free!!!!!!! As my special gift to all you mom's out there...It isn't in the store yet...BUT your layout must ONLY consist of items from SBM...Paid kits or freebies..NO OUTSIDE STUFF ALLOWED....We are an SBM community...<wink>

Oh my, can't believe that I'm the first on this one. Church and soccer game with my daughter's family was my wonderful day. Love watching the kids at their games.

I spent my day with family. I selected the pictures I took of Arika, playing in her room with her "kiddies". I used Fiona's lovely Rose Pearl kit. It is such a lovely kit.

Here's mine. We celebrated on Saturday. A cold front moved through in the afternoon, so it was a little cool. We just snuggled under blankets and had a great time anyway. My husband grilled and both my parents and his parents and sister were all able to come.

This year for Mother's day, I got spoilt aaaall weekend long!!! :) . . . These 2 pics taken as the boys gave me their gifts (from their mom) that evening. . .

I used Deanne Gow-Smith's pretty Blissful Kit for this challenge (available in SBM's store). . . I thought the colours (pinks, miroons and golds) were perfect for a Mother's Day layout

In England we call it Mothering Sunday and we celebrated ours on 14 March this year. One of my sons came over and my brother and his wife. We had such a great time, as we always do when we're together. As you can see, Jason likes to laugh and he's so good to have around.

All the layouts are very nice and such grand time on Mother's Day or remember Mother's on Mother's day. Mine was uneventful and no pictures. :( Mom is 400 miles away and I mailed her a check! :( Sad but she's on a tight budget and appreciates a little extra to do what she wants to do with it...flowers wilt and die! :)
