Im not sure if this is even the right place to post this cause its kinda not SB related and then again it is! So my apologies if I chose the wrong board. But I wanted to share a new project with y'all that Im working on. I call it my Christmas Card DVD...lol Instead of writing out Christmas cards, family news letters and adding a bunch of loose pics in the envelopes, Ive decided to digi-tize (is that a word?) it all! lol
Ive been collecting the best pictures I can take over this passed year of all my kids and close family members. Ive been scrapping them all according to the event that was taking place....birthdays, anniversaries, cookouts, etc. Im gonna take all these pages, put them in order as the year went by and create a DVD with Christmas music. Add a few text pages here and there to create a footnote section and tell stories about our family that will explain each event or crazy snapshot that might appear. Yes I snagged the dvd cover template to use as well! lol Now for the shipping... at Micheals we have these little white plain boxes made to ship cd's and such. So Im gonna scrap a cover for each box using a family pic for the FROM section and a family pic for the TO section, of course adding addresses too. (The box itself will be wrapped as a present with the front cover scrapped) Thank Goodness for glue dots!!! Anyways I think this will be great fun and a different way to do Christmas cards.
