Open Office Program

For those of you that my be looking for a word-processing solution similar to Microsoft Office (i.e Word, Excel, etc) to create PDF's or word art, try this program... Its free and works the same of the Microsoft products

It is around a 60 MB download and virus/worm free.

Many developers are following the open source trend this days. I use this program all the time for my office documents and have had no problems.

I echo Julie's suggestion. I still can't believe Picassa is free! I've had it for a long time and I keep waiting for it to cost something! :p

Does it have an ORGANIZER???Open office will open all MS Office documents, spreadsheets, databases, presentations etc. It will also save to all MS Office formats from Win 95 upwards. It opens and saves PDF and almost all other forms of WP programmes. I have been using this programme for absolutely ages and I love it. It takes a little bit of getting used to because the functionality is slightly different to Word, but I have not come across anything yet that I can do in Word that I cannot replicate in OOffice. The best thing about it is the file size is so much Smaller. It is well worth it and compatible with XP - I am not too sure about Vista (you will have to check their site for this)
