Onie Is Back!

I have been very busy this week! Was without internet until THIS MORNING! I got moved into my apartment and it's been a big job un-packing. It seemed that I had so many issues to deal with. Would you believe Sears showed up to hook up my new washing machine & dryer but..... they didn't bring them! For 2 days, I went round and round with Sears because they lost the appliances. SO, I canceled the order and got the washing machine & dryer at another place. Then they hooked up my internet on June 5th but it wasn't working until today. Days of waiting for technicians to show up. I think moving 3 times in a year was MORE THAN ENOUGH.

John has been keeping me busy trying to stay on top of his tricks. You can not believe how MEAN that man has been. And all the stunts he has pulled. I meet with the attorney next week to go over all the financial stuff. It's been amazing!!! Heaven help me get through this...... I have no clue how much longer before it goes to court. John honestly believes he is entitled to half of everything that I already had.

I don't envy you moving & all that unpacking,my daugther just moved also & they are still living out of boxes, so much less stress when it's all done :)

Onie congrats on getting all moved in to your new home!!! I too feel really bad about John giving you so much grief--but there are words for men like that. He sure knew what he was doing--but I have confidence that it will all backfire on him and you will once again be on top of your world. You'll see!!:)

I took a quick trip back to AZ over the weekend to get the last of the things I wanted. I had 14 people from church and a police escort. I got want I wanted and left the rest to John. Believe me, he came out with a lot of nice furnature etc.

After I was heading back to California yesterday, I got another call from the mobile home park that John is at and he again bounced another check! Then he told the park managers a juicy lie............ He told them he won the lottery over the weekend, but he doesnt' have the money yet. GOOD GRIEF............ that man lives in a fantacy world and honestly believes his own lies.

I've been pretty busy this past week and a half! I was offered a really great job with Kaiser's Hospital System, as a Hospice Supervisor in Orange County. Gosh the benefits are the best I've ever had. I will start the new job on July 6th.

Then, I went and traded in my car for a new car. I got another Honda CR-V. I've had a 2003, 2006, and now a 2009. This one is a dark blue and the best part is that my payments are only $9 more a month.

Had a meeting with my attorney, she has requested a court date. Should be in court in about 45 days. I will be really happy to get this over with and John will finally be history.

It's been so wonderful being back here in Southern California.... I've linked up with a lot of old friends and family. It's nice to have people around to hang out with. I remember how lonely I was, when I lived in El Paso. Loneliness can make someone vulnerable to making bad decisions........ boy can I test to that.

We had a High School Picnic Reunion last weekend and again, I hooked up with more old friends!

Honestly, I do think things are starting to get back on track. I love you all for being so supportative through all this with me.

Oh Onie this is all such good news and it is about time eh.I am so so happy for you.Now start saving for a trip to Nova Scotia:D.When you come and visit you need not worry about a hotel as you will always be welcome here at my home.Would love to meet you.Now run out and buy a piggy bank and start saving.:D
