Every time I come here, there are new templates and embellishments that just make me http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/dkwoolery/drool.gif ..... I have taken soooooo much of the work done by all you talented ladies that I have been feeling like I'm "cheating" by not sharing with you too..... so I used PSE and a wonderful effect that I got at Atomic Cupcake and I have created this set of large chipboard monograms that I hope you'll like and want to use.
I don't know how you add the really cool thumbnail pics... :o but here is an example of the alphas.....

While I was playing around making these in PSE, I also tried out some of the excellent editing tools in SBM..... if you don't like the white chipboard look, go to the "Advanced" editing area..... first use the Brightness/Contrast tool to lighten it up and then go to the Sepia tool and select whatever color you want to use to coordinate with your layout..... you will probably need to click "apply" several times before you get exactly the color you want.... you'll end up with a really pretty alpha with much darker "inked" edges.....

Are you saying we can change colors like red blue yellow green? Or is it just sepical? I have read several times about changing color to desired color and it sounds as if we can select a variety of colors!

Onie, if you select the Sepia tool, click on the color next to Tint Color and you can then select a different color to apply to the embellishment..... hmmmm.... does that make sense?

Thats right Onie and if you keep hitting the appy button it will get keep getting darker. I just found this out not to long ago playing around in the advance area.
Love the Alpha Grannyscraps. I can't wait to use them. I'm in a lull right now. I got caught up on all my scraping. I can't believe I did it! Now I have to come up with an idea. Thanks for sharing!

Thank You for the help! Also, was playing with Sepic in the Advance feature and was changing colors on other embellishments. That is really cool. Doesn't give a lot of possible changes but it does change the colors. That is great! :)nie

I am not able to change the color on these! It will give a different color to outline but the inside is still white. Am I doing something wrong?

I'm sorry you're having trouble with this...... the only thing I can tell you is to keep applying the sepia effect..... the outline DOES get darker much faster than the inside......
Absolutely 'fandabadozzi...........' Look forward to using these over & over again & was able to change the colours OK.
So, so many free downloads. wish I could contribute something but am so afraid of copyright even though I take a bit from this & another bit from that. Oh well.....

GrannyScraps, I played more with the Sepia affect with the colors and YES YES YES, they did color in. They turned out darker than the selected color but still very pretty! Thanks a bunch. I have a templet that I did and tried to send to the gallory but apparently I've had one of those moments when it wont work. Will try again later but I did use a couple of your letters and turned them pink/purple color.
:Dnie
Way coolie alphas!! Thanks for sharing!
