Hello,
Usually when you see it on here it means laughs out load or laughing out loud or some say it's loads/lots of laughs but it can mean lots of love too, so it depends on what has been written:D ;)

I am finding many new sayings or terms being used on here and I'm sure there are many who do not know the lingual or what they mean. I think it would be fun and educational to share the meanings of some of the lingual or terms on here!!!! Wondering how many diff from each other. Doesn't have to be something like "LOL" but maybe "Vegemite" The term I adore is the one I hear from Auzzie gang "Mum" for Mom.
The one that stands out to me right now is "Grouping" what the heck is that? I've been reading all the postings on grouping but do not have a clue what that means. I have my embellishments and other items in groups or individual files..... Is that what you mean by "grouping".

Onie... Grouping normally means that you select several objects with the mouse, then you "group them" by clicking an icon on the program. After that, you can move all of them at once and sometimes, even apply the same effects to all the objects, without having to do it one by one. It's an awesome function that many of the larger image editors have.
Ops, I just read another post and learned that Max has this option already! Wow, awesome. You got to love Max!
Hope this helps.

How about an example........ When Squeak has been giving us embellishments of the Alpha shapes...... We are getting 4 or 5 at a time. Is that a grouping? :confused:nie

No, I'm sorry, I guess I did not explained it properly. When you are working in Max, and you have several embies on the work area, you hold down the Shift key and click on the ones you want to work on at the same time. When they are highlighted, you then go to Edit, Group, and then you can resize them, rotate them, etc.
