Prayers Needed For the Comuunity

Some of you might know already...but I talked to PkDoll the other day, and she is going through alot of personal issues right now and could use some prayers from us here...As well as Rosana and a few others... (ie, Marion, Wiz, Ocean..oh my there were so many others just can't remember...:o)
I am also going through another chemical heart stress test this Monday and Tuesday and sometime next week I will be going to another hospital to have a stint put in...Now we will have to be worried about my kidneys failing again from the use of the dye...UGH...So, I could use a couple prayers if you all can spare them...
I wish everyone in need of prayers, the best of my thoughts...and know I am thinking of you...(HUGS))

Thanks Wolvsie for starting this thread and indeed prayer's are needed for all you girls and your family's. Just know that we are here for anyone of you. I feel so helpless and just wish I could at least be close enough to hold your hand or give you a hug. Yeah, well, I finally figured out, I don't need prayers. Why? Well because I am completely and utterly insane and I kinda like it that way!:D My depression meds come in a PEZ dispenser! My migraine pills come in the form of SIXLETS and my sick tummy pills are called hugs! Ask my kids, they will tell ya!

On a serious note: ALL of you wonderful peeps are on our nightly bedtime prayer list...we start them at 7 and it's 10pm by the time we get everyones names in there:eek: ( sorry, guess I have a hard time being serious!) But love ya's all!

Today is the day I will find out if I need the heart surgery right away or if we can wait awhile...I will let everyone know when I find out something...

Hey guys....I'm back...<wink> :) It sure has been a looooong day!!! but after all the tests, heart pictures, waiting around and talking to doctors....we came up with a decision...Not the best one, but one I can deal with....NO SURGERY!!!!! lol...for now anyways...There hasn't been much change in the blockage, and instead of going in and jeapordizing the kidneys for possibly nothing, we are going to wait...There is 33% of the bottom portion of the heart that is not working...the artery has collapsed and the valve leading to the artery is dead too...so nothing they can do there...The area that is blocked right now, is severly diseased and he doesn't think opening it up is going to help too much...So as he put it, leave what isn't fixable alone to save something else...My parents and I had to agree...So even tho it isn't the best of news...It is good enough for me...

Not the best of news but great in that you don't have to have the surgery, even though Im not here a lot I love you all and my thoughts and prayers are with you..PK doll you know how much I love you and how much I'm praying for you..God never makes mistakes and as hard as it seems now, everything will work out for everyone..there is power in the prayers of the SBM family. Thanks Liz and Jazz...I don't want to be a preacher or anything like that....But I truly believe that we all have a purpose here in this big world and things happen to each of us for a reason...Look at me...lol...With everything I have gone through in my life, I am still here and very thankful...Sure, my life might not be easy...But we all deal with different things..Anything from stress, divorce, death, sickness, financial issues... the list goes on and on...I sit down and wonder "why me?", but I also know there are people out there dealing with something much worse then me...and feel thankful for what I DO HAVE...I can still walk (well most of the time..lol), I still have my sight and my speech, etc..Some people don't have these things...So I am grateful and thank God everyday that I am still here...alive and kicking...<wink>
Just something to think about...

So I send my prayers to everyone dealing with whatever it is that they might be dealing with right now..But eventually, things will get better...I will always keep my friends here at SBM in my prayers...I have grown close to many members here...and like Jazz and others have said already...I consider you all my friends...Cyber or not...((HUGS))

You are absolutely right Shell. When life hands ya lemons forget lemonade, make a pie! I can thank God everyday and I do. I believe Emily is the reason I was born. I had a 4 hour meeting yesterday about Ian to get his disability medicaid in order so he can go to Utica to get all of his testing done to see where on the scale he fits so we can start treating him. I talk to moms every day who have children with disabilities and alot of them are far worse off than I. Emmy may not be able to see good or hear but her heart is perfect. Ian may be a handful but he has his health. Nothing in life is worth more than a few tears, not even death, because if you celebrate a life there can be no death. Always find something to laugh at and you can never be sad for long. Emmy and Ian both make me laugh all day everyday even when I wanna scream...one of them will do something goofy and I forget what made me angry in the first place. Know something else? Lemon pie sure does taste good!:D
